[A] Frenzy - semi-hardcore - 8/8 heroic DS - 10 man

Frenzy was founded May 20th 2011 by a group of ingame friends who have been playing together for several years.
Frenzy was created with the main goal of becoming a successful raiding guild while maintaining a semi-casual raiding schedule (three days a week). We do not aim to become a world first guild, but we do aim to clear all normal mode content as well as the majority (if not all) of the heroic mode content from Firelands and onwards. As such we expect our members to have excellent knowledge of their class and raid encounters so we can get the fullest out of our raiding hours. Progression: We only had two weeks of raiding prior to the release of Firelands, but managed to get: - 12/12 normal modes (clearing BoT + BWD on the first night, TotFW second night). - 2/13 heroic modes (Halfus Wyrmbreaker and Atramedes). Firelands: - 7/7 normal Firelands. - 6/7 heroic Firelands. Dragon Soul: - 8/8 normal Dragon Soul. - 8/8 heroic Dragon Soul. Our raid days and attendance: - Thursday 20:00 to 23:00. - Sunday 19:30 to 23:00. - Monday 20:00 to 23:00. Being a 10 man guild with only 3 raid days we require you to sign for most raids to avoid too much fluctuation in the signups, +80% sign rate would be preferable. What do we need? Frenzy is currently looking for caster DPS (not mages! And hunters aren't casters!) to strengthen our raid team for the remainder of Cataclysm and beyond:
If you're geared for heroic modes, a good learner and know you class well enough to pull your own weight drop us a line. We have one special request for a druid with gear and skill to play either feral tank + restoration or feral tank + balance (preferably). If you happen to play all three specs that is a major plus. Your position will be that of an offtank (seeing as we have one full time tank) and playing your other spec a good deal of the time (that is mostly true if you have a balance spec as opposed to restoration). You should join Frenzy mainly if you are looking for a dedicated raiding guild without having to spend 4+ days a week raiding. Because you want to be in a friendly guild where it's not all about raiding and there's room for joking around when we do raid. So how is this any different from the majority of 10 man guilds out there? Most guilds have some dead weight - Frenzy was created with the mindset that we do not want to carry anyone. If you want to be a raider in Frenzy, you should be able to pull your own weight - if you share that mindset you should join us. Knocked off Heroic Halfus in 2 pulls putting us 2/13 after 2 weeks, currently trying not to die on Heroic Chimaeron. Looking to hit 3 or 4/13 before patch.
We'll be charging head first into Firelands on Wednesday, aiming to clear normals quickly before getting our teeth stuck into heroics. Still looking for a Shammy (ele/resto), Druid (Boom/resto) and a Lock. |
