And I quote a guildie of mine:
"Rouges are overpowdered" |
|
|
and let's go back to calling em Rogues.

You can't do anything, they will mascara you!!!
In all honesty it is more than possible to beat a rogue as Enhance. If you can catch them out of stealth you will force them to burn all their CD's pretty quickly. If not, use Sham rage as soon as they stun you, as chances are they will follow up with a Kidney shot. Get your wolves out as soon as yuo can, drop totems, make sure you have a stone claw shield and go to town. If you let the rogue reset, the fight is now more in his favour. The worst thing you can do is let him run off and restealth. However, you can't usually do anything to help that. Save your trinket for blind. |

There is a way to defeat rogues. I suggest you key-bind this new totem build (Call of the Spirits) and use the following totems: Stoneclaw Totem, Magma Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Totem of Tranquil Wind.
The first thing a rogue is going to do is sap you: let him and don't panic. Rogues are just as scared of their enemies as you are of them. They hate surprises and that's why they hit the invisibility button. When a rogue stuns you and uses all their bursts on you, that's when you hit the trinket and fire up all your bursts (I suggest you make a macro for all of them), such as: #showtooltip /cast Heroism /cast Fire Elemental Totem /cast Earth Elemental Totem /cast Feral Spirit /cast bash /cast spirit walk /stopattack /cast Greater Healing Wave The rogue is obviously going to disappear afterwards, so it's a good idea to get up your magma totem just to break the stealth. Hit Ghost Wolf and hug your totems; spam stoneclaw whenever it's off CD. This time the rogue can't hit as much, and it's going to give its best shot at you. That's when you start kiting the rogue and eventually finish him off. In general, rogues are the weakest class on WoW (excluding the cheesy techniques), therefore it's a good idea to use anything which slows them. Enhancement shaman is lucky in this regard because it has a lot of CC to offer. It has instant hex, can break snares, can root, and it could also stun with Feral Spirit. Use earthbind totem when you can, and macro it with stoneclaw totem with the latter being popped first: #showtooltip /stopattack /cast Stoneclaw Totem /cast Earthbind Totem When you cast stoneclaw totem and pop another totem, the shield still stays on you and so it's a good advantage for us enhancement shamans. The main aim for you is to slow your rogue as much as possible. Yep, you know what I'm gonna say now: use Frostbrand! Your priority with rogues must be completely different from another class. Using WF/FB; [Rogue stealthed] -Call of the Spirits -Wait [Rogue saps you] -Wait [Rogue comes out and stuns you] -Trinket and use macro -Auto-attack x5 [Rogue disappears] No >> Unleash Elements >> Stormstrike >> Lava Lash (save MWx5) ^Yes >> Call of the Spirits >> Stoneclaw macro >> repeat >> repeat >> repeat... [sapped] >> Wait >> Wait [hit] -Auto GWH -Auto-attack -Use all melee skills until you reach MWx5. -Go afar and use Frost Shock >> Hex. -Get out of combat and drink up. -Pop Feral Spirit and nuke him. The rogue should be dead now. :-) |

Isn't "Rouge" french for red? You can't beat rouges? then again, red is a pretty OP colour.

Rouge is a new -Oz- album ^_^ vs rogues, always remember to. Stoneclaw on CD. Trinket on kidney, never ever ever ever on kidney. Dont use Shamanistic rage on first possible stun. thats stupid, save it for moment when rogue is bursting you not stunning, its good to use it while shadowdance. its not bad idea to keep flameshock on him. Keep your hp high even by cost of maelstorm. Dont Panic ^^ remember that rogues dont like ours shield so much.
and yea rogues arent op. They have decent burst, decent controll, and good surv with is nerfed already.
look your gear dude |

rogues are pretty OP with all their defensive mechanisms, and their ability to run off. if they used every single CD in a fight, they will get the kill, unless they suck. we arent even sure we get the kill if we used all ours... if a rogue fails to kill something they just run off.. omg.. and yes rogues are OP and so are frost mages.
decent control, decent damage my %!#!@*#. they have a billion stuns and wont hesitate to kill you. they attack you and you use trinket at kidney shot, they either sap you and run off, to come back in stealth and you are now defensless. they have a million ways to kill you. infinite options |
|
|
kidney got cd and share diminishing with cheap. only op thing about them is silence from gargote with most of rogues dont use on us. And yea they have milions of ways to kill you, all of these ways demand points with they must spend for control or heal. to be successful as Enh in pvp you have to learn totem controll. Drop absorb and right after armor or agi/stry buff. Drop magma when rogue is going stealth. and drop searning when he come out. Its not easy to beat rogue, but its not impossible. |
|
Killing rogues is easy try kite with frostband and pop wolfs/spirit walkers for moving heals = win

The first thing a rogue is going to do is sap you: let him and don't panic. Rogues are just as scared of their enemies as you are of them. They hate surprises and that's why they hit the invisibility button. When a rogue stuns you and uses all their bursts on you, that's when you hit the trinket and fire up all your bursts Stopped reading there, a rogue will just blind you when you trinket his stuns, and will then restealth and repeat without you having your trinket. Invisibility is not in a rogues spellbook. A rogue can't use 'all their burst on you' while stunning, they have to choose. A good rogue will not sap you when he can have the element of suprise. He will only sap you if your mounted, saw him before stealthing, waiting for a buff to fade, CC'ing you or he's trying to divide you from your teammates. <- BG/world pvp wise @ Blacky, you won't be able to kite a rogue effectively. They have too many tools to get rid of your snares/close the gaps and control you. |

Aye, rogues do loads of things. But, that doesn't stop you from giving up. |
