Prestige is a guild that was created on the 27th July 2007.
We have battled our way through each expansion to our best ability, achieving a good success at raiding. We have had a slow start in Cataclysm due to the nature of Real life holidays and such. We are now in the process of updating our roster and because of that we are hoping to tap into the raiding community of Darkmoon Faire for some active and skilled people that are willing to progress as part of a team! We have currently have Raiding spots for the classes listed below. We are also happy to announce that there is a Social Rank within the guild for friends of guild members! We also accept players into the Social Rank that have a promising future but don't have the gear for raiding just yet. We are currently recruiting: Mage (Arcane/Fire) We also consider applications from classes that are not listen above providing you have the gear, attitude and experience that we need from a player. Progression: Firelands Heroic 25 - 6/7 Dragon Soul Normal 6/8 What you can expect from us! Prestige currently raid 25 man 4 days a week. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 19:30 to 23:00 server time. During raids we provide free raid consumables for everyone attending the raid, flasks, potions (progression bosses) and repairs, even for trials! We have a fair DKP system that rewards you for putting in effort, the more effort you put in, the more you get out! What we want from you! Activity: This is one of our most important factors. We want people to show up. We need our members to participate within all aspects of guild life. That means attending raids, being active on the guild website and just being around in general. Members are no use when they are offline. Patience Patience is a thing that you will need within this guild. We are a progressive raiding guild and will smash our faces against bosses until we find a tactic that works and people need to be aware of this. Progressive raiding is hard and takes time. You have to be prepared spending this time wiping and actively contributing to tactics on the boss encounter we are progressing on. Maturity With the guild consisting of adults, vent chat and guild chat can sometimes drift into adult orientated subjects. We dont have an age restriction, however we tend to be a bit sensitive in recruiting people under that age of 16 as we have had problems regarding their maturity. We do however have a good number of young people that have been within the guild for a year or so that display maturity on a high level. Due to the nature of out chat we strongly recommend that you have a thick skin and a good mature personality. Skill and Class Knowledge We hope that anyone applying to a raiding guild has a decent knowledge of their class and some skill with their chosen class. We expect members to actively try and improve themselves by means of websites such as Elitist Jerks or others that specialise in a certain class. We Also have a great bunch of people within the guild that will actively help you in progressing your knowledge of your character so please make use of them, even if your not part of our guild! Respect for the realm and other guilds With Prestige being a well respected guild on this realm we actively try to uphold our reputation. Therefor we wish all of our members to respect the RP policy and the Rpers on the realm. Disrespecting people from any other guild while being a member of Prestige will be dealt with immediately upon recieving a report from the insulted person. We also do not tolerate any ninja looting in heroic instances or PuG raids. Doing so and being caught will result in punishment. Now you may think that we are an elitist guild of some sort from reading that last paragraph, however i must urge that we have had almost no reports about any of our members in the guild history and hope to keep it this way. Please be aware that we take our applications seriously. If you have not put any effort into your application we will deem that you take no interest in your character and most likely decline you. Your application is our first mean of knowing you as a player, so please spend as much time as possible in writing your answers for it.
