A Warhammer book
Called Eldar Prophecy by Cassern S Goto Almost unreadable with what seems a complete non-event plot throughout. Plus using Eldar terminology instead of having a footer at the bottom to explain you had to turn to the back of the book to the glossary to check constantly as they popped up. |

I have to say it was Liberty's Crusade (the first Starcraft book) was my least favourite, but that's only because I couldn't make it past the first few pages of Shadows of the Xel'Naga.
Eldar Prophecy I really enjoyed because it was so damned weird, totally gave the sense of Eldar being completely alien rather than humans with pointy ears. I'll probably never read it again though because it can be a bit of a chore. The more recent Aspect Warrior has a much better story and gives great insights in to craftworld culture. |

Shadow School or something, we were ordered to read it in school, I didn't even bother to read it all the way through, it was just a fail.

Old man and the sea...
Ok, I know there is a deeper meaning to the book, but a 100(?) pages of him going fishing is plain weird. Fantasy book wise, I've tried reading on 3 separate occasions a book called "The Iron Tree" by Cecilia Dart-Thornton. The 4th time I finally managed to finish it and was mad at myself for going back to it. Should have burned it or something. Horrible horrible book. The worst thing is, I didn't only buy that one, I bought the sequel in the same time. It's been about 3 years since then and still have not touched it. A dusty shelf is what it deserves. |

An anime !@#$ book I found in the lirbrary at the age of 11...trust me Ive seen enough %^-*!@ to know where that was going

Anything from Shakespeare. Being forced to read that stuff in school was torture and had no conceivable benifits whatsoever.
I may as well have been made to read something in Mandarin and I would have come out of it with the same knowledge and experiance. |

Le book!?? Whats that? Is it food? Well seriously, im not a book reader unless comics, manga or cartoon counts. I've looked at books just becuse i was forced to during school years and to be honest i can´t remember reading more than 5 complete books during my 23 years in life.
Reading books is an old people thing =P. But those 5 i can remember reading was "arthas, rise of the lich king" by christie golden and the 5 book set of Ramses from Christian Jacq (or Rameses, spells differently)... that makes 6 books.. this is bad. Anyway, i can recommend those books if you like stuff that is a little overreacting on reality. EDIT: Oh, to answer the question, as i haven´t read many books i haven't found any "worst book" yet =). |
Haha, it does have one redeeming quality. It served as inspiration for a great South Park joke. :]
And people wonder where DKs get their reputation... :p |
Agree. While the movies and the story are great, the books are very very very boring. Not bad, but just too long, too slow, too boring. |
