The Promise is a strong social guild that fields a good 10-man raid team. We have a skilled core of raiders and good raid leadership. We raid on a light schedule of just two days a week, raiding Sunday and Tuesday evenings for three hours from 8:15pm server time. We use Ventrilo for communication purposes during raids, as well as general chit chat and discussing other matters.

We're also happy to consider Social applications for reserve spots.

Applicants should know their class, and have a mature attitude to raiding. We maintain a relaxed, fun atmosphere in the raid while maintaining focus on the fight. You should be able to commit to our light raid schedule with absences being the exception and not the rule. We are always open to active social members, and would like to recruit raiders who become a strong part of the guild community too.

P.S.
We do not invite players that put up a message to the ingame Guild Browser. We are aware of people that send us a request there, but you will be asked to post an application on our website. Players below level 20 are usually declined without further notice, there may be exceptions. Players who have not entered any message at all will be declined by default.

Bump!

We're under new management! Xenetha has taken the lead as of today.
We're also very much interested in having active 85'ers to bolster up a raid team. (Whisper Xen or me ingame!)

Indeed, we are now actively recruiting for raiding as we want to get this guild moving in the right direction :)

I believe we are ok for healers and tank but more can never hurt as sometimes people may be offline, but the main priority is finding some dps to fill the rest of the raid spots. :)

I'd like to add that we're mostly looking into doing Bastion of Twilight/Throne of the Four Winds/Blackwing Descent.

Firelands will come as time passes, people gear up and our raid team works as one.

We're still looking for some dps to fill the last couple of dps spots, looking for Palas, priasts and mages! :D

Major update! We have cleared content prior to Firelands on normal difficulty. We now wish to move on to Firelands progression. We are still in need of people who can provide us with some dps, buffs and their lovely presence. Vent is required, speaking is optional yet encouraged! Please visit our website (mentioned earlier above) for applying, or try whisper an officer ingame. We take every applicant into consideration, as we do not simply recruit an arcane mage, or a holy paladin. We do recruit the person holding the mouse, with all their versatility!

We are proud to announce that Beth'tilac and Shannox hit the floor last night. I'd like to thank Palamorakniv (The Forgotten Longing) and Harmfull (Plague Born) for helping us out here.

Update: The Promise have killed Rhyolith and have an appointment to kill Baleroc later this week. We still need ranged DPS to fill out our roster, now scheduling two raid nights/week and looking forward to fielding a very solid, well-geared team in 4.3.
