With Season 9 recently passed, new PvP rewards distributed, and Season 10 now underway, we’d like to remind everyone about the importance of fair play. To be clear, cheating is not tolerated in World of Warcraft, and exploitation of ranked PvP play is no exception. Before distributing rewards to the top performers in Season 9, we conducted a thorough sweep looking for any players or teams that were clearly attempting to manipulate the ladder system. These players were dealt with accordingly and did not receive any undue rewards. It’s important to note, however, that there are many cases where it may appear that players have manipulated the system, when they in fact were legitimately competing like most everyone else. We not only want to make sure our actions are comprehensive – we must make sure they’re accurate. That said, we’ll continue to ensure fair play is taking place going forward, and will be implementing changes to our matchmaking rating system soon to resolve this type of ladder system manipulation. |

Katriedna,
You didn't explain how many (I've seen at least 5+ now) pre-level 85 characters obtained the Gladiator Title and the mount. There are people abusing the system as we speak. One team already hit 2.8k rating with a 50% win/loss ratio. For a thorough and comprehensive investigation - that's pretty weak :/ This discourages people like me, I took PvP seriously last patch and I want to hit gladiator in the next few seasons. How am I supposed to trust the system when people know they can get what they want by not playing fair? |

Yes MMR is now invisible, because all proofs of your good will are cleary visible.......
So fair that the US post is locked....... Many teams at 2900+ already Eyes on you, Blizzard. |
There are people abusing the system as we speak. One team already hit 2.8k rating with a 50% win/loss ratio. Its not nessesarely MMR abuse to have 50 % winratio with 2.8k teamrating aslong as you are facing 2.8k or higher teams all the time. Facing equal MMR teams all the time and winning 50 % will eventually get you to your MMR. |
There are people abusing the system as we speak. One team already hit 2.8k rating with a 50% win/loss ratio. I know that, but you have to consider we're only on the second day of this season and people already got the rating they wanted? It's not fair. |

what about those guys who got vicious gladiator at level 70-something?
what about wintrading and players who are selling gladiator titles? why aren't players being permabanned for exploits like this? it's really like the GCD hack fiasko all over again. i don't understand why you don't ban abusers right now and set a clear sign that this kind of behavior is NOT tolerated... no one cares about a stripped title and i'm sure people will continue to exploit in S10 (and probably already are doing so right now) |

So when will you be fixing the mmr exploiting instead of just banning those who abuse it? We in the PvP community have very little trust in Blizzard at the minute and all you can dish out to us are changes that we don't want.
Grinding honour gear is not fun. Bgs are not fun. PvP at the minute... guess what? Not fun. |
