Btw guys, Im looking around on other realmforums and a lot of realms have the same problem and this problem seems to be bigger than Blizzard might want to confess.
But reading some of the posts where Customer Service have replied, they want us to push the "Like" button, so please remember to press "Like" button. This is how they can sort through all the hundreds of posts done everyday easier. In this case, we press Like on Mowkie's post since he was creator of the thread.

I personally play in this realm from its' beginning from both sides.i played always as rogue with 2 different accounts at the same time.for those ppl that say that Greeks are the reason i will agree with them but at 10%.you see i'm Greek as many ppl from this conversation.Darkblazer i will agree with you m8(greetings btw).ypologos also.the real problem in this realm is the acting of the ppl.yes Greeks say all the day"ax0xa0xa0xa0xa"but when the /2 is chill some1 will spamm and the beat goes on.....we have ppl 30 years old that the only thing that they do in-game is to enrage all the others.i personally prefer 25man raids.more ppl,more fun,more action.but.....when i see only aNc and TH that they keep 25man group and all the other(and my guild also)spamming for recruits.Blizzard must do something because this realm walks to its' death....and don't forget WE MADE IT LIKE THIS

Genjuros atm is great for casual players. No elitists, no lags, easy questing. But hardcore pve or even semi-hardcore... now thats another question

I hope the raid finder tool will make things better, though I doubt it

Like you state casuals players :( . It would be easy to say , we can have some free migrate so some ppl to come here... Point is that atm with no hardcore guilds(to atract ppl) would simply make anyone that come simple to go in state of afk/casual/bored/qq since they won't find anything thats suits them.

So again we're seeing the only escape is simply migrate :(.

Every 25-man guild is doomed as far as i can see to become a 10-man since is not classic/bc/wotlk so ppl could carry some others.

I would like something to be done for this server but beeing realistic=We have 2 much casuals and especially bad-casuals. So **@#@**

This server is more dead than ever. People are keep leaving or quiting. I dont think a free migration will solve the problem. Noone is gonna leave a high pop server to migrate here since they dont have to wait in que to log in.

Only Outland EU is Locked during peak time. Blizzard should realise that many people have unsubscribe and start taking some action.

They could merge some low pop servers. I know there is problem with character/guild names and realm first achievs but the goal is to make those servers viable again.

A solution could be that both guilds and characters are holding their server first achievs from previous server. About the names.. the character with the more /played time should keep it.

This is just a suggestion. The point is that something must be done to balance the servers. Blizzard should take care.

I dont see this happening soon, which is sad because if they dont do something, it wont be long before the situation becomes irreversible.

Genjuros is dying. Horde is still okish but alliance...

Three or four years ago, I left my main toon, this character here, to start a new character in Genjuros, a server I saw many people playing on Horde side with Greek names in cross realm battlegrounds.

Now four years later, I have had to return back to my original server, Darksorrow, one of the highest populated realms.

If you devote about 30-40 minutes to searching the EU forums, you will see that the issue with low pop servers is very widespread (there are at least 30 servers with as low population a Genjuros) and there are even maybe 6-7 other servers where barely 100 people log in every day.

Given the magnitude of the problem, I don't think that Blizzard will do anything drastic to solve it, which makes the future of this server, as well as the other low pop servers, look quite black.

There is no way in hell I will pay them 100 Euro or so to have my characters transferred out of here. So long, I have had lots of fun playing here, I am now forced to go back to ganking Trolls and Tauren, although I like them.

Sad but true.

One thing i would like blizzard to do is as people here have sad before, merge togheter maybe two low pop servers to one new so people wont wine about having to go to another server. you know what i mean, for some the server is "holy". ;-)

FOR GOD SAKE BLIZZARD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? STOP ADD STUPID THINGS INGAME LIKE PETS AND HAIRSTYLES AND GOD KNOWS THE REST SHIAT YOU PUT IN, AND START TO THING ABOUT THE COMMUNITY INGAME. THIS IS THE THING THAT MATTERS, NOT HOW MUCH PETS OR MOUNTS OR SHIAT PEOPLE CAN GET NOW. (maybe they read stuffs with capslock since they dont realy care for noncaps-writing)

btw you can pug BH 25 but it has never been done on alliance side atleast. Does not that show some of the problems this server have? And add almost no pugs etc that makes the server living. Its frustrating.

I feel for you we are outnumbered by alliance on sporeggar 3-1 maybe more, few weeks ago horde AH 3.8k items..alliance AH 12k items, Tol barad consists of average 5 players a side and out of the 5 horde players 2 are normaly *%%!#@@%* *coughs sorry * alliance alts jus afk.
Unfortunatly greed i think plays a major part as when i look on my server most of them are low pop.

we started a thread in general forums cos became so bad and we had loads of people from diff servers in same boat so they moved thread to spore froums were no-one would read.

I speak from Horde side only since I got and want only one main....

I've been running the Guild (UMBRA) as Guild Leader since it's conception way back in 2008 here on Genjuros. I started the guild cos the last guild I was in (2 years Class Leader) wanted to be an ALL Greek Guild and merged with another guild...cheers, they left me and other non-Greeks in the cold after our assistance in getting them through Black Temple from a small pre-Karazhan guild. Anyways it's a dead story now and I don't hold any grudge towards any of them, but it does show that people have to wake up and show respect to others else (as someone mentioned) they will leave the realm whilst their character is still at a low level and start elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, I have tons of Greeks who I consider my friends since i've been around since Vanilla so I don't intend on abandoning Genjuros.

One thing's for sure is Blizzard don't give a hoot... hey have you seen any response to this serious situation? We're PAYING them for a service and we have a RIGHT to have our moneys worth but they don't do anything to remedy the situation as the situation has been degrading for months now!

First of all to see the real situation does anyone know if the census counts Alts as unique characters? I'm assuming it does since it counts unique characters and has no way of knowing if a player has logged his alt. If it does then I know players that login regularly with multiple characters, indicating that the situation is worse then it looks. Much worse in fact, since players have on average 2 max level Alts which they regularly log in with.

As for the Raiding 10 / 25 man (and I'm speaking as a Guild Leader), we always aimed to run 25 man raids, even if we have to gear our players up but there just aren't enough players around looking for raiding guilds and players also just keep moving to 'a friends guild', or, worse still, transferring away from this dead server. So the picture is that we find a potential recruit and loose 1 or 2 others forcing us to run 10 mans. There is no player - guild loyalty on Genjuros and I also see the LookingForRaid tool as a huge guild killer. Unfortunately this player-guild loyalty situation can only be remedied by players on an individual basis and is beyond anyone's control. Actually Blizz is to fault for this situation too, since they made gear so easy to acquire that players EXPECT to get gear without investing any effort. Remember there was a time when we had prequests to do just to enter a raid instance and it was only raid guilds that raided due to the level of difficulty? Blizz justifies this cos they want all players to see the raid content they created and have put Heroic mode for hardcore raiding Guilds. But heck they colaterally created a major guild problem which they have attempted to put right in Cataclysm with the Guild perks, Guild rep and Guild only items available so as to make players stay in guilds. Unfortunately it is not enough to keep players in Guilds as many want free loot without investing anything.

Ok, so since Blizzrd won't raise their greedy fingers to assist us, it's time for players to get their act together and do something about it. All of you here have done your part (grz) to attract attention here but more is required.

You have to make Genjuros better.

Whilst you're online you can police others who have no idea what a community is like and will tend to spam / insult / Dirge etc. in trade chat. Such garbage will scare off players so you may want to get them to change the subject. Another thing players have to learn is to establish themselves in guilds (we're recruiting lol) .

Take the lead and try and find reasons for players to login and have fun by organising raids / PvP (heck we used to go for Alliance in 5 man parties at midnight during Vanilla) / assisting people who ask advice in trade / respond to others needs etc. It's these little things that will make Genjuros better and keep players around as well as attract players.

Those in small guilds may even merge with some other small guild so as to get guild raids done, suggest it to your Guild Leader.

Another major problem we got is Tanks / Healers or more appropriately the lack of them. That is a HUGE problem which can only be resolved by players of specific classes learning that those two specs rock (both in PvE and PvP) so get players to try these specs out and indirectly help Genjuros.

I can't agree more. The server needs more people, it has way too little. (Alliance Side: I did For the Horde last week, and there were 8-ish alliance online to stop us at Stormwind. No players at all in If, Dn and exo.

Also from a PvE point of view, im very happy to be in an active raiding guild which isnt greek (dutch, guild name means literally: <Name> Never Has Luck). I have seen entire guilds migrate like AnC. Farming rares is easy, you can get Aeonaxx in a week.

Thirdly, its very hard to come across people in the field, like alts or new people. Even rares in a place like Loch Modan, which should be loaded with dwarves/gnomes, are allways there when I check on them. Pugs are very hard, with only recently starting to get true Firelands runs instead of normal trashruns.

Lastly, Wow is boring of its own right now, I hope this changes with MoP and bring millions of subscribers back.
