General Info
Esoteric is a semi-hardcore 25 man PVE guild on Balnazzar-EU and has been around since late 2008. Starting out more casual and community-oriented in early BC, we're now 100% dedicated to endgame raiding and aim for quick hard mode clears before nerfs. Coming out server second in WotLK, we advanced to number one with all server first achievements in Cataclysm. Nevertheless, we're still valuing the community highly and are looking for people that are willing to integrate into and become a part of it, rather than just excellent raiders. Current progress: In Tier 11 and Tier 12 we cleared all the heroic content with multiple server firsts. Currently recruiting: Death Knight, Open: DPS with a good Tanking off-spec Druids, Open: 1x Balance Hunters, Open. Mages, Open. Paladins, Open: 1x Holy Priests, Closed. Rogues, Open. Shamans, Open: 1x Resto Warlocks, Open. Warriors, Closed. Requirements for new recruits: General: • Close to 100% attendance on all days of our raiding schedule including Tuesdays on progress. • A stable computer and connection • A working microphone and Ventrilo 3.0 • Fluent English, both written and spoken (funny accents appreciated!) You: • Quick fingers and fast reactions • Ability to deal with criticism • Longtime motivation to keep on playing WoW • Team spirit • Willingness to learn and to improve • High tolerance for all kinds of puns and r-tarded humor as well as cynicism, sarcasm and jokes about your mom! Your character and raiding: • High understanding of your class and game-mechanics, as well as being able to play your off-spec • Endgame raiding-experience, preferably on our level or slightly behind • Knowledge of boss tactics • Preparation with all required consumables • Gear that allows you to compete with our members Raiding schedule: Wednesday, 19:00 - 23:00 CET (servertime) Thursday, 19:00 - 23:00 CET (servertime) Sunday, 19:00 - 23:00 CET (servertime) Monday, 19:00 - 23:00 CET (servertime) **Tuesday, 19:00 - 23:00 CET (servertime) **During progress we will extend the raiding days by one day, making us also raid on Tuesday Loot System: We're distributing loot via loot council where officers decide about items, going by criteria such as performance and attendance. Since we gear up for progress, certain classes, specs or roles, e.g. main tank, may be prioritized over others for the best possible results.
