I was hoping to hear a lot of different decent warrior names in this thread, instead theirs a discussion on swifty, kinda sad :( I used to like swifty until warrior nerfs came, I was also shocked to find out he is 41, WTF get a life

I think athenes 36, by the end of mop they will both be grandads, I mean im no youngster at 26, but I don't plan to be playin games at 40+ i remember when I used to play command and conquer seriously and my clan leader was 40... No 1 cud grasp that a 40 year old was playing games, we just cudnt believe it, but finding out swifty was 41 was a shocker for me :(

Look how much money they do by doing what they do. Athene got 600k$ for charity, I'm sure he picks more than 10% of this for himself. Swifty has razer partnership, I'm sure he makes more than average by doing that. I consider it far better than corporate ant working 9-5 all life, repeating same day one after another. |

Deadliest warrior? Hoodrych/Barburas probably, the reason being that both of these warriors have been said to deal an outrageous amount of damage compared to other warriors, despite their lack of PvE-gear.
Hoodrych played WLD to extremely high ratings in both s7 and s8 afaik, being the first WLD in the world to reach 3k. Never had access to good pve-gear, had dbw normal at most. Barburas has been r1 pretty much every season afaik, and amongst some of the things I've heard of him, he was fully decked out in pvp-gear but could easily do more damage than any shadowmourne-user could, not sure if he even had dbw. Both of these warriors are known for their capabilities of dishing out extreme amounts of damage, despite their somewhat lack of gear compared to others. Others are probably Drmongrel, Merkx and Swayy - Though I haven't seen much of these compared to the ones I mentioned earlier. |

Damage never seperated Hood/Barbarus from other warriors, what seperated them from the rest was their command of an arena game and the way they lead their teams; perfect calls for switches, perfect D play, perfect positioning, perfect use of unrelenting assault/charges/intercepts/pummels/sheild bashes/shield slam dispels/reflects the list goes on. They also had incredible synergy with their partners thanks to playing with them for a long time and having seriously in-depth knowledge of all classes and comps.
Damage is not what seperates a multiple r1 world-class player from your average gladiator. Edit: Also Laintime/Swifty(vanilla era, now he's just a community interaction fanservice, which I like) and of course Indalamar (how the hell do you spell his name?) for nostalgias sake! |
