I need to get a leather worker to supply me some leathers on the cheap. I checked out the alliance auctions and it is way too expensive.
I know where to get the leather but just cant be bothered lol I will pay a fair price for various grades.
I also need an inscriptor you isnt ridic greedy. I tried to buy an arcane arrow attack increase glyph (lvl 25 night elf hunter) and it was going for 183+ gold!
This to me is just silly, its really not worth that much at all unless you are level 85 and want to get the max edge in PvP but I would still like to purchase a few. Not for 183 gold but more like 50 silver or less.
Anyone who is interested hit me up. thanks
I guess you are referring to the price of glyph of arcane shot, which just happens to be one of the best glyphs for BM and MM huntardos (a must have actually). Its also only a one time purchase, so dont whine about 183 gold, its practically nothing. It also goes for 279g in the horde AH at the moment.
It is the law of supply and demand, and in this case roughly 2/3 hunters (much more in reality) need the glyph, so it is just reasonable to ask at least medicore price (such as 100-200g).
Also, they are skinners those, that you should ask leather from, and do not expect low level materials to be cheap, since everyone who is leveling their professions from the scratch needs them, and almost no-one gathers them anymore.
E: I also couldnt help but noticing that you are wearing int/spirit/str items, which you never should since it does not benefit you in any way. Always use anything with agi or even pure attack power (do such items still exist?) instead of intellect, spirit or strength.

thanks for pointing out that i was using rubbish kit. I dont understand the game yet, at all basically lol its just a monstorous amount of stuff to learn.
I mean, 12% increase on my arcane shot isnt something I really need. All I do atm is hunt and mine. I only have like 12 gold and im lvl 25 so how could I ever afford 183 gold for a slight damage increase on one of my spells? (or ablities dunno what it is lol)
I can get ~7 gold for a full stack of copper ore which takes a good while to collect, so I need to get 27 stacks, at the right price, just to increase one spells damage by 12%? Thats just not worth it at all imo
am i right in saying that the seller targets the high level players who want more power and have money to burn?
Thats exactly right. The higher level you get, the more gold you'll be earning - completing one quest at level 85 (max level) should yield about 15-20 gold. The quest rewards also sells quite handsomely. Thus, gold doesn't become much of a problem to you later on in the game.
so still no leatherworkers wantiing business?
I mean wtf there needs to be somewhere better than auction house for this. Like a business meeting spot for negotiation or something.
if I cant find them on the forums how else could I find them?
/2 in capital cities. I still would suggest you to just pay the price asked in AH, or forget about your professions 'till you can afford to level them with gold (depending on the profession and realm, it takes aywhere between 1000 to 10000 gold to level your profession from the scratch to 500 where you get the profession bonuses.), or grab a gathering profession and get dem materials yourself.
Ye I can get a lot of the stuff myself and im in the process of getting a few guys together to source stuff for me cheap. I get it from them before it goes to auction, slightly cheaper, since I help them out and often throw a little gift in with the trade.
Im just going to quest a ton and sell a lot plus store loads of materials and sell them when im in a good spot to undercut the market.
What are profession bonuses? You mean like if I was an inscriptor I would get super cheap glyphs or and engineer would be able to build a turbo charged flying machine for themselves and just stuff like that?
I really want a flying machine :)
Not really, i was talking prof bonuses such as miners get +120 stamina (at skill 500 and higher), blacksmithers get 2 extra gem sockets, scribes get stronger shoulder enchants than the rest, enchanters can enchant their own rings for different stats, and so on. Every profession give about the same amount of stats in a way or another, it mostly varies on how and what stats do they give.
Your engineering gives no static stats tho, but you get "tinkers" instead, that will give you the same amount of stats in average than the other professions. See http://www.wowhead.com/spell=82175 for example, it gives you a use effect with cooldown to your gloves, which gives you 80 int/agi/str in average (amount/(duration/cooldown)), agi in this case (for you being a hunter).
