TLR is a long time guild on the Hellscream server, I’m not sure whether we qualify as THE oldest alliance guild but we are certainly one of the oldest. In fact with some of our officers included we are one of the most geriatric guilds. My name is Scar-Scarfaceclaw-Puss-That damn guild leader-et al. I have pussied my way through raid content for several years since sending Dezrath my old main Hunter to the Home for retired nukers. It is my pleasure to take TLR into its next phase of wow Firelands. We have many very able raiders and a lot of social nuts (no squirrels to apply here please). We are balancing the Raid and social sides of the guild constantly and as long as Tyer our Bear tank doesn’t fall off(or break) the fence that will remain our juggling act for the future. Our raid nights are primarily Thurs Sun and Mon 2115-0000 site time. Currently we are working on Firelands content and have taken down Beth’tilac and Shannox. We are not full on raiders and prefer to succeed with a fun group without all the snorts and rants of a more hardcore guild. Our loot system is the EPGP system, easily monitored by an addon. We do raid with an eye to destroying everything in our path, but we take our wounded along with us. Socially we work hard as an officer core to ensure a family friendly atmosphere, we have ensured that all the professions are represented so if you need an item enchanted/crafted it will be done for mats + no fee by any guild member. We have many “characters” in the guild from lost gnomes to grumpy bears with a few anti prohibition Paladins and altoholic members thrown in. There are several WoW families in the guild, and battlecries of “The wife’s fault” and “where the hell are the keys” ring out on vent occasionally as the push to talk sticks. Historically we have been the starting place for many of the Hardcore raiders on Hellscream, learning your trade is easier at TLR with our experienced class geniuses in house. We have been through many rotations at GM but the general philosophy is unchanged, we enjoy without living for it (yes I know I’m on 24/7 cheesy shush). Woah way out of date, raiding DS Thurs, Sun and Mon 10 man, FL is usually just a Friday.
