[Du Shift] Newcomer's Guild

|
Hello,
After we decided to pack in the whole raiding business due to sheer lack of numbers a few of us went to other raiding guilds e.g. After Life and Spiritus Sancti. I, myself, have lost my flare for raiding and it's not a case of 'the game is ruined', it's just that I have less time and my schedule is too topsy-turvy to try and raid. So I've set about turning the guild into a place for Newcomers. I'm an avid reader and poster on the WoW forums and I want to make a guild that will try and use the forums as much to our advantage as possible. If we get our new players a bit more clued in this game could be a lot better. Here's a link to a thread I've made on the idea http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2463657636 Anyway, back to the guild. We're recruiting all players, newcomers and veterans alike. For the newcomers we can provide a place for you to learn the game at your own rate, where all questions will be answered and in detail, where you will be encouraged to make use of the official forums to gain information and theorycraft. For veterans we can provide a nice relaxed atmosphere where you can help share some insights with the new players of today and do your bit and making this a better game. Feel free to bring an alt in if your main has raiding priorities with another guild. Bascially what we have here is like a teacher/student program. If you're interested give me a /w in-game and we'll have a chat. Thanks - Sam |

Hi, Sam.
Think it's really useful initiative to introduce RTFM idea to the game :) As long as you have nicely indexed structured knowledge base for most common questions, that should be really helpful. Tho still i find ej and aj easier to use due to less amount of info to dig through. thumbs up and good luck! |

Very interesting idea and I hope it takes off well, something like this would be perfect for newcomers and a brilliant addition to Kilrogg, best of luck!
