Dear blizzard game-developers,

The realm of talnivarr has a problem. Especially the faction of the alliance. Many players are unhappy on our side, because of the lack of players of our, alliance side. The ratio alliance-horde is complete out of order. It feels like the ratio is 1-15.

The Trade channel for example is on alliance side near dead.
The open PVP areas are mostly controlled by horde. And even when alliance controls them, horde is all over the place.
The quest areas, fire lands for example is near impossible to quest without 4-5 deaths caused of 10 horde players.

If you notice some conversations on the realm or this forum, you will notice many entries about this situation.

This is just to bring this under your attention. And I hope you will listen when more players react on this. I know you have the possibilities to change something. Free migration to alliance from other servers, a horde stop or a merge with another realm where alliance is overpopulated.

I hope you’ll help us.

And for all the other players on this realm: Please react on this letter. How more we sing this “petition” how bigger is our voice!

Totally agree, trying to make an RBG group with decent people is near impossible

People will say that you shouldnt have rolled on a pvp server if you dont want to die in contested areas, just an fyi.

Signing the petition because this server is dead alliance side.
And don't give me that 20 euros for an xfer BS, that wouldnt solve anything as all the other schmucks left here and new people rolling would be in the same situation.

Ill Sign the Petition the AH is dead every think is Over Priced hardly any mats no Fotune cards. When i quest theres 15 horde allways ganking me and i try call for help but due to low players theres hardly 1 player on to even wisper to arsk for help. and Guilds are disbanding beacuse of low pop raiding is low Just get a Free migration from the Mealstrom Alliance to Talnivarr Alliance would help as on Maelstrom alliance my main is there and thats Over pop with alliance.

It's hard not to agree, the Alliance side is almost dead on Talnivarr. Don't make us all transfer to another realm, this game is just boring alone.

I support this.

Ever since the free transfers to Talnivarr in 2010 we have lost more alliance players than gained. Merge us with another server, give alliance only transers either to or from. Like Alealei has stated, paid transfer is not a sensible option for many if not all of us.

Oh and to any GM / Forum moderators looking at this. Dont expect many /signs to this, our population really is dead.

Gief more Ally. This is Blizzards fault, since the Ally side was perfectly healthy until they opened the paid faction change in mid-WotLK, and ppl started switching. Once ppl started moving, the Ally side started falling apart. This started a domino effect, and is the main reason why all the raiding guilds on the Ally side fell apart in the end of WotLK, with Deci, Neph, DO and Domini migrating away, Vanguard just dying and Numen going Horde.

Props to those who still play Ally. I know many that would like to be Ally again (myself included), but atm, that's not an option.

As said, merging Talnivarr with a server that has the opposite problem (high Ally pop, dead Horde side), would be a good idea.

Alliance population is terrible. As already stated it is near impossible to arrange rated battle grounds. It has taken days to try and organise rated battle grounds, and notice the wording 'try to'.

A simple server merge as stated previously would be great. Or even and incentive program i.e. if you roll alliance on this server you have increased reputation gains, honor gains, conquest gains, valor point gains by 10% etc.

It could be easily fixed. However I don't think Blizzard cares about it's community :(

Its a shame because Talnivarr is a decent server.

I too have been thinking about this and have been trying to find a way to get hold of someone from Blizz who will actually listen as the low population on Talnivarr is actually affecting the levels of game play that can be achieved and experienced by the players on the alliance side of the server and I hate to remind Blizzard about part of their company mission statement; Everything we do at Blizzard Entertainment is based on the success of the gaming experiences we provide our players. The goal of each discipline within the company -- be it art, programming or customer support -- is to make our games as fun as possible for as many people as we can reach.
Well we aren't getting the type of experience paying customers should expect .
Every voice matters according to blizzard so listen to us and improve our gaming experience by giving more players to the alliance side of Talnivarr, is not really to hard is it?

well a server merge would be like doing a paid char transfer but for EVERYONE and their alts. I think tal would go down for a day or two if they did that which would result in a lot of whining.

According to a gm I spoke to, community managers are responsible for this sort of problem. If we assume that our CM, whoever that is, isn't horrible at their job, then Blizzard are aware of this predicament and simply do not have a cost effective method to solving it.

To counter this, I would suggest we organise a peaceful protest by picking say 2-3 days in a row and everyone interested in getting talnivarr balanced makes a GM ticket asking for a fix to this solution. I'm sure hundreds of tickets with the same message will grab someone's attention.

The Gm i talked to said that he and the other gms don't have ways to contact the community managers.
But for the record: i love that plan to post that issue every day to a Gm and i hope that many players do so too!

Our guild will do it. Im sure of that. Hope the other guilds (and horde) will do also!
We only need a catchy phrase what we can copy-paste into the ingam ticked

I agree, more alliance on this server. we cant even queue for tol barad, and when we do its mostly just 4v4 or something rediculous.

-Give new starting people free Heirlooms, let new guilds start at Rank 10, increase rewards and daily gold amounts for quests and dungeons, increase honor cap or valor cap, remove auction house fees,give double experience when you level a new character,Remove faction change fees if moving to alliance.

Add a mercenary system so we can have horde players join as alliance for Tol barad, its not fun with 4 people.


Give Diablo3 because 4 players max in group feels like alot more than being on this realm as alliance.

Move to Trollbane (Trollbane is also dead on both sides) but we are balanced on both sides.. As fact alot of Trollbane ppl moved to Talnivar Horde so that could be a part of the issue :P
