For about 3 weeks now I haven't been able to play wow as it restarts my computer after about 10 minutes. I opened it up and ran it and all the fans seem to run fine so I don't think its an over heating problem, though I'm not sure. Is it a graphics card issue?
Specs: OS:Windows 7 64 bit Processor: Intel core I7 cpu 920@2.67GHZ(8 cpus) Ram:6gb Graphics card: Nivdia geforce 9500 GT |

Hi Erag
If the computer is restarting, it usually means that Windows is crashing and trying to display a Blue Screen error, but a setting in Windows is preventing it from being shown. Please disable Automatic Restarts by following this guide: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=21297 After that, the next time this happens you should get a Blue Screen error instead of the computer restarting. Please document this error and post it here and we'll try to help. |

Can you try the game in OpenGL mode and see if it continues there?
We've got a guide to this here: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=36271 |

Well one thing I can then recommend is to test using a other game as well if it happens there and you say the video card is staying cool then your power supply unit (PSU) maybe on its way out.
As for OpenGL, I have no idea! Sorry |

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:
Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista or 7, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the entire dxdiag file into your reply. ________________________________________________ Crash log diagnoser |

Run Windows Update and install anything it finds. After you've restarted your computer, do the dxdiag again.

Open the Command Prompt by holding the Windows button and pressing R then typing in "cmd". When it's up type in "sfc /scannow" and let it finish.
