Blizzards Total Disregard for PvP
|
I have a slight feeling this topic will either be locked, removed or totally ignored.
Well, we're used to it :( |

They could learn alot from this thread,
I think this is a a nice summary of the toughts of the PvP community atm |
|
|
Requesting a thread such as this one to be stickied won't happen, mainly due the fact that it's partially against what Blizzard have done, especially with the thread title as it is.
But great post nonetheless, I read pretty much all of it and the majority of it summaries up how PvP currently is in this game, I strongly agree on the Legendaries aswell. |

What do you consider a PvP community? People on this forums? Surprise, they are mostly idiots. People in battlegrounds? Oh no, another bunch. Lets see... oh yeah, arena junkies. Wait for it. Wait for it.. yups, you guessed it. Mostly idiots too. So whats the problem?

More people needs to sticky this, and you need to list the other half of the problems the PvP community has to deal with every day after the devs. Cause chances are if someone is forwarding this might be eminent.
Never forget: "We think priests are in a good, if not great spot right now" |

This was written too well, you won't get a response from Blizzard here despite them ''reading all the topics'' you should have tried less facts and more heresay and there'd have been a blue response, contrary to what they say, i do not believe that they like sensible controlled posts because they will simply be unable to justify any response against somebody who has shown a hint of intelligence.
I have watched both the EU and US invitationals and whilst i have actually enjoyed watching the starcraft (never played but i love Protoss lol) - it just leant more weight to what Blizzard are capable of and how obviously mistreated the WoW PvP community are. Starcraft 2 Streams / Commentary / Setup - Entertaining, informative, efficient, professional WoW Streams / Commentary / Setup - Embarrassing, unprofessional, clueless, uninformative, inefficient, delayed, poor quality - None of the above Seriously, it was as if two different companies were doing it. Blizzards PR machine need sacking, it's an absolute catastrophe and i can only imagine that they're SO arrogant and believe that their product is SO good that people will not stop paying them.. For some this may be the case but many i suspect not. Personally i used to have two accounts but have recently cancelled my second account, after Jay Wilsons comments i no longer have any desire to buy Diablo3 which after playing D1/D2 would have been inevitable regardless of reviews ''shut up PvP guy'' = Not a game i'm interested in. Ultimately Blizzard may have done me a favour, i currently spend significantly less time on their game and have found more time elsewhere - perhaps sometime soon i'll cancel this account as well.. Or maybe Blizzard will have a massive change of heart and i'll continue to play..... Lol, which is more likely. |

1+,

Extremely well worded and thorough detailing of pretty much every core issue I've ever had with the game, you hit everything right on the mark - bravo.
+1 And requested sticky, deserves attention. |

This is possibly the poshest written rant I've ever read

Game developers know exactly what to do to make pvp wonderful again. But its not up to them. The boss says no,for the obvious reason that it opposes their policy of making the game retard friendly to be available to as much larger audience as it can for greater profits. Spot on. If i may add... a company that abuses the fact they arent having a serious competitor so they downgrade their product way too much. I really wish a new game comes out, equivalent to WoW's diversity, complexity and beauty. Then i m going to make everything in my power to promote/support it and bury bli$$ard+activi$ion alive. Being a company making a huge profit is one thing. Making it ENORMOUS at the cost of quality is entirely another. |

Great post and well worth the read. Pretty much sums up the entire problem with Blizzard in regards to PvP in my opinion.
Would read again. |

An excellent read, thanks for the post. I'd love personaly to see a patch fixing the current imbalance in PvP along with the other issues.
Let's get this heard and hopefully get a community manager or someone else here, like and request sticky :] |

A great read, you've clearly shown an understanding to what Blizzard have done and what they are doing. Even so, Blizzard will have no intentions to balance PvP, which is the reason why MLG left WoW. They may read your posts but they will not reply.
I've experienced their bad service enough to know they won't reply. If they do reply, I know that they won't reply with any constructive criticism to fix PvPs current state. They show no intentions to do so. |
