hey, im making this thread in hope of a solution to our problem on Burning Steppes realm, we curently have a huge population issue here, the alliance are nowhere to be found, wowprogress has 24 horde guilds (still small) and only 3 alliance guilds, we barelly can even do a tol barad battle because theres probably like 10 alliance getting in per battle, making loads of horde players forgetting how that battle even looks like... im wondering if blizzard can help us in any way to improve our gaming experience here on our realm, perhaps free char transfers to alliance here or smthin like a merge with a realm that has the imbalance oposite to us, theres been alot of threads on our realm forum concerning this but its rly getting frustrating now to see ppl making the same post over and over again there so lets see maybe someone hears us here! Is there anyone actually looking into these kinda things like the realms becoming badly imbalanced etc? Hope someone there can help us... Cheers!

Though your idea to merge two servers to allow an equal chance on Tol Barad, chances are it wont happen.

But still you can never say it wont happen...

Anyways... If it gets so bad to the point blizz will more than likely to a free migration from other server to your to equalise it out or free migration off of it.

I cant speak for them but its just what they may possibly do.

EDIT: Speaking for my server in terms of Tol Barad, its mostly dominated by horde. With luck do we take it during peak hours. but its no gurantee that we get it.

i wasnt only speaking of tol barad, yeh maybe as horde thats what im missing, but imagine the alliance here, they got a dead auction house, probably takes forever to find an enchanter or jc etc, cant make a decent rbg, cant find a pug to some bwd/bot, the alliance cant even manage to get guilds going because of this issue, those might not be my problems as horde, but these are the comunity of the realm i play problems. Thinkin that they pay the same amount of montly fee as everyone else, shouldnt we all be given the equal amount of chances to succeed in the game?

Got a reply from a ticket opened by me reporting as follow:

Realm and faction populations is something that our Community team actively monitor on a regular basis to ensure there is a sufficient amount of players for realms to stay active.

They also need to ensure there is another realm in a similar situation before opening up transfers or other services however, as otherwise this could only make the situation worse.

Currently I'm not aware of any plans to open up transfers for Burning Steppes, but this is up to the Community team to monitor. If you have concerns for your realm then posting on the forums is the right place to let them know about the problem.

Not every topic will be replied to, but they are all read and if the problem is as large as they get reports about they will do their best to remedy the situation.

This, if it want for some one in the guild my alliance char is in i wouldn't have any glyphs, just becuase the selection on the AH is piss poor and levelling profs is a pain in the arse to,

And now that Lore are transfering away, its gonna be even worse ...yay!

And on a side note, it might be better doing a post asking players that used to play on this realm, why they left that way it's not just another QQ post about low populations and you have something to take to Blizz and say "hey look, this is why all these people & guilds left, what can you do to stop it happening in the future?"

So hows the population now? Did Karma's speech work for you guys?

i wasnt expecting any response tbh, this post wasnt made to help me in any way, i like the realm with a small comunity lag free, how this helps me tho is avoid seeing 10 posts per day on this matter on the realm forum. Not having 20 euroes for transfer seems like a serious irl issue to anyone paying for this game.
However maybe it could help the ones who want more ppl here...and cant afford paying a coffee's worth of money on a transfer.

put it this way. horde are so bad on this realm pvp wise i can take down 3 at once no sweat if they lack a healer.

the fact that horde out number us doesnt realy matter because we are still making steady progress in raids, wehave a few rbg's on the go on a regular basis and we just troll over any horde that thinks he can beat us in a fair fight ;)

Also Horde may have more stuff Available in AH and can put together Raids quicker, but like my fellow Worter (worgen hunter) says you guys suck in PvP and are lazy hence Preservation got server first 25

wasnt it you that attacked me in front of firelands on friday evening during our alt run???
so u, attack my alt, who has pve gear and spec, who i have 10 honorable kills and few days played, and u get to die (yes flowa came when u were 10k hp and stuff but i never asked him to, plus u can take 3 of us down)

karma theres nothing more i love during preservation firelands night then to wait outside the firelands raid portal and kill unsuspecting hordies that magicaly appeer outside the instance. u were meerly a casualty or all the camping i had to undure lvling up. lol
