This ultra rare sword model is found only on this item and Teebu's Blazing Longsword, both are incredibly rare drops which are practically impossible to farm. The item model for Teebu's Blazing Longsword is featured on the original WoW packaging, wielded by a Dwarf Warrior named Hammerfall.

With the new transmorgrification feature to be introduced in patch 4.3 you will be able to make one item take on the appearance of another, therefore this model has appeal to any class that can wield one handed swords. The item will become soulbound once used to transmorgrify an item. You can use it on multiple items.

This item has much appeal to individuals who desire incredibly rare items and models, and as such I am asking for a sum similar to the prices asked for very rare trading card mounts, though there is room for negotiation.

the blade of wizardry is not that rare, bought it on ah for 100 gold about a year ago, and i've seen plenty of swords out on the auction house for about 300-1000 gold. and it's not ultra rare at all, tebu's blazing longsword is ULTRA RARE though, this sword, nah, not so much. ;)

1. The price before the announcement of transmorgrification is now irrelevant. Since the change in 4.3 the sword has drastically increased value because of the rarity of the model.

2. There are currently 25 Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger on US Horde servers. There are 29 Blade of Wizardry. Due to the nigh impossibility of farming this weapon, I'd suggest that they will be of similar value.

This sword will very likely be highly exclusive, and thus has significant value to collectors. When people are paying upwards of 40k for items such as Volcanospike which will only be relevant for the current tier of raiding there are people out there who will be interested.

Can prolly sell it for ~~60-100k gold when 4.3 arrives- doubt you will get more than that.

Dude, Its a crappy iten which cost, and will cost a few 100/150g max...had seen it alot of times in AH...and you will see even more with the old instances massive farm.

The item is a very rare model, since it is only found on this item and Teebu's (and you have practically zero chance of farming Teebu's) that makes Blade of Wizardry pretty much your only chance of getting this model. I personally couldn't care less if you like the model or not, there is somebody out there that will. Since there are roughly similar numbers of Blade of Wizardry and Crimson Deathcharger available, it is logical to conclude that they are roughly worth around the same - they are both essentially vanity items.
