World of Warcraft®

Last year my mum was diagnosed with kidney cancer last year and had to undergo major surgery to remove her kidney. Since then she is doing much better and has regular hospital checks.

This was the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life, my mum is my best friend and this news really shook my world!

I have been thinking for a while how I could get my world of warcraft guild involved. So I have come up with an idea how I (with the help of my guild) can combine our love for the game and the guild with raising money for a fantastic cause.

We will be taking part in a 24hr raid-a-thon, raiding all content in the game, from Vanilla to current content Firelands (not thats a lot of raiding)

All of the guild members taking part have paid an entry fee of £5 to get our fundraising pot off to a head start. Now all we need is you help to ensure we reach our £1000 target and beyond.

The event will take place on Saturday 29 October 12 noon (thats lunch time peeps) until Sunday 30 October 12 noon.

The event to streamed live right here on the website so that all of you can watch, support, get involved with live chat and donate.

Wonderful idea, but please people your support is needed to make it worthwhile! Any donations can help save lives of cancer patients, and as scary as it is, someone you know or love could rely on support like this one day if they too are diagnosed with cancer.
