I can't do a lecture next week or the week after, unfortunately, because social obligations, BUT!

I can do one the week after THAT. So er... November 30th. Sure, loads of people now have Skoll IC, but I don't care and will give some lore that, at least, works for me concerning Hati's (and other Skolls') origins.

I'm available this Wednesday. Would you like me to talk about WoW's cosmology and the Planes again? Or maybe a different topic, because I'd have to start making things up to go into detail about each.

I'm up for a lecture of "Fire magic: a comparison between shamanism and the arcane", if you'll have me. :p

I reckon I should be free on Wednesday.

Sorry for the later response, Kelzay is away with work until today and I am just about the most forgetful person on the planet XD

So Edanna and Rykha to speak tonight? That sounds great! Thank you both :) Edanna will be first and Rykha second, Unless that's inconvenient for one or both or you.

Edanna, We try to come up with different topoics where we can so something new would be ace, Perhaps something on the history of Mages? I know I'd enjoy hearing more about classes and how they evolved over time.

A short history of mages and magic... I already have a few ideas!

I'm all for going second. It gives me a couple of pointers for my own performance. :p

IMO the best part was the RP that came after, all of it. My personal highlight is this: Mages sitting inside discussing the superiority of arcane power. Outside, Shamans discussing the superiority of primal power. Both groups trying to ignore each other. Almost too bad a brawl didn't break out! XD

Guild chat gave me an idea. Depending on how many speakers we'll have I can hold a lecture on "Ancients and loa: an outsider's view of natural demigods" this session or the next.

I can't believe I almost forgot about this thread. At any rate, as said above Sor here will be talking about the Light as seen from the point of view of the Blood Knight Order in it's olden days. Expect angry priests.

As for the last event, I must agree with Edanna, the aftermath was the best part, so much to discuss :).

I'd like to apologize as I will most likely be unable to come to the event this evening, as well as not saying this earlier. You see, a guild event is scheduled for the same time as the High Society, and I only now noticed it. Sorry for telling you this late, and should anything change I'll update this post.

I'll be a no-show tonight, as it's the last day of NaNoWriMo. Next fortnight, though? I'll be there, and I am really looking forward to it!

I haven't heard anything being discussed but in any case, I'm moving my Loa lecture to the next session. Life's been hectic.

I don't actually remember what I was told the event tonight would be about, but nonetheless! We shall come.

I wish my social life didn't always happen on Wednesdays. :<

On another note, could it be possible to make a list of all the topics which have already been treated? It would be interesting to know and also potentially help to avoid speaking of something which has already been done before.

I'm pretty sure tonight's meeting is not happening - sorry all. Both speakers are busy and with the patch everyone else is mogging and pugging!

I know I have about 42 dungeons to run this week :D

We can either reschedule for next week or leave it a fortnight - any thoughts?
