So after much trouble and alike, looking at different forums and such. Does anyone have the slightest clue about Skarr's spawn timer? :/ I saw him last week and been camping him for a whole week now. Still nothing but karkin spawning.... So today he spawned unluckily for me I've been called into a raid so I wouldn't be given the chance to tame the dear kitty.

TL;DR = Skarr spawn timer?

I have read that it's a shared 6-8 hour spawn timer with Karkin. I tamed Skarr and then waited out the the spawn timer for either Skarr or Karkin to show up again and Karkin spawned in just under 8 hours from the time Skarr did.

This isn't to say exactly how it is, but that's what I've seen anyway. Good luck :)

Its so hard to find both since so many ppl are there for the dailies....At the begining of the patch i found Karkin and tamed him, i never however saw Skarr....:(

skarr shares spawntimer with karkin; and as far as i know, all cata rares have a 8-12 spawn timer.

Kinda off topic about spawn timer... but this could be the issue you might be facing.

Skarr can be killed in less then 15sec's... by most classes, Kinda lame :(

I was watching some hunter waiting for it to spawn far side of the floating Island.. Skarr spawned the other end, where the NPC's stand. I told the hunter that he had spawned, by the time he had got in range some Feral Druid started nuking him. Me & the hunter both side, Please don't kill him. He didn't stop... then started making stupid jokes about sending the gold in the mail to the hunter....

Tip.. keep using Eagle Eye. Also change to MM spec for Silence Shot to interupt its cast.

Karkin never been a problem... think I've let 5 ppl tame him already and tamed him 4 times myself

Soooo.... karkin spawned again.... still no sight of skarr :/

just tamed karkin 10 minutes ago, so skarr will be up next. anthriss spawned when karkin was tamed as well.

Guess what, after last nights karkin, I logged in this morning and guess what? KARKIN IS THERE _again_ :(

hmf seems karkin either has a faster respawn or youre very very unlucky:(

Found him right after the daylie reset timer one night soo might wanna try too look at that

His spawn timer is somewhere around 6-12 hours. I saw someone tame him a few days ago and decided to wait for him to spawn again so I waited from 15:26 to 10:19 (about 7 hours) and got him.

I had an audience which made me pretty nervous. One orc hunter and a human mage. No one attacked me though. I /begged the orc and /thanked him when I finished the tame. He probably just wanted to see me tame it without anyone interrupting, as he flied away when I got skarr. (it turns out he already had it)

the story of when i tamed Skarr, day D at 00:06, i log in to check and find its corpse at spawn point A, 07:48 i find Skarr and tame it at spawn point B

Not sure about the timer but i saw skarr get killed and i logged in 6 hours later to the minute and there he was waiting for me to tame him. pala wife stunned him helped :)
researched it myself and it seems a 6-8 hour shared cd with karkin the crab. random whether its skarr or karkin though. hope this helps a little.

let me clarify. it doesnt go skarr karkin skarr karkin. its totally random apparently so it could be 5 skarrs in a row then karkin.

camped for hours last night waiting for Skarr... went to make a coffee, came back 4 minutes later and there is a corpse of Skarr in front of me.......

6-8 hours from my experience.

I was camping Skarr, he spawned and in the middle of my tame some jerk Warlock came and killed him and /rofled at me etc. I waited longer, exactly 6 hours later Karkin spawned so I tamed him, waited bang on another 6 hours and Skarr spawned again and I got the tame.

My friend also camped both of them, and had the same 6 hour spawn timer. Although, it's entirely random whether Skarr or Karkin spawn! If you're tired of camping, check in the early hours to see if either are up - 3am-7am server time on my server, one of the two are always up waiting to be tamed :> but of course this depends on your server

If you are able to camp on weekdays, start at around 2 a.m.
I got mine at around 3 a.m. server time. A few days before, my boyfriend had tamed it, so i just camped a few hours every day starting at 2 a.m. and on the 5th day, there he was again. Tamed it without a problem.

Well , i saw both Kirix and Skarr spawned same time.So please camp more.

went up to do dailies, karkin there /tame... did dailies came back, afk'd for a few mins.. skaar sat there exact same place /tame.

Rare pets are.... not so rare :O

If you log in around 2 or 3 hours after server reset you'll have quite a high chance of finding rares in molten front. I think i went there around the time i mentioned and what i found was.

Kirix spawned.
Solix spawned.
Skitterflame spawned.
And the crab one..I cant remember the name..
I also found magria or whatever its called right outside the molten front portal.
