they are only adding it because alliance have less mounts than horde, and even still why do you care.. they have better things to spend time on creating new things for WoW nevermind two mounts. That's probablly why it's a naked horse, and they still look good.

Anyway, I think it's been taken way out of context. I'd still be smarting that worgen mount (ie running) isn't insta-cast (here's hoping it's not coz I don't really play Worgens lol).

Adding some mounts to the game to even up ally/horde ratio is good enough for me though - they could put BMX bikes in for all I care - as long as I get from A to B I don;t really mind :@)

Not everyone is raging. Some people are being open minded and being reasonable with their opinions and discussions. I mean if we all just stopped telling Blizzard what we thought, How would they know what their fan base want from their games?

So long as people can be respectful, considerate, and constructive, I don't see any problem with people sharing their thoughts and opinions.

I do understand some people aren't able to act like this however. But I am sure Blizzard just take their unconstructive opinions and raging as silliness.

No. People asked for ice-cream ages ago, realised they weren't going to get it, and then ages later "Omg guys! Here's a bucket of frozen milk!"

Also, I don't get it. All I'm seeing is something that was given to balance out subfaction mount numbers, which was also given to the Alliance, except it had a bug. This isn't like that.

You are wrong. The Worgen horses are not racial exclusives. Any Alliance race can get the new Gilneas horses if they have enough reputation.

It`s all about priorities. Guess the team was too busy working on the new model for Thrall to make proper worgen mounts.

It`s no secret that worgens are half finished race. Goblin towns are all over the world. They have entire Ashara for themselves. They have trikes. Worgen have one tree in Darnassus.

Worst of all is that this is so stupid. Keeping things balanced between the both faction is kind of elementary thing. I mean why the hell can`t gnomes get one more class? Would it offend someone if there were gnome paladins or hunters?

Let me put it another way. Before the ochre warhorse, Forsaken had other skeletal warhorses. Before the Worgen horses, Worgen had no other horses. Forsaken had a mount specific to them, even if available to other players. Worgen do not. Their only specific mount is copypasted from another one.

People whinged for mounts because Horde had extra.
Blizz gave people extra mounts so now we have the same amount. (Granted not much effort but at least we match now, right? :D)

Although I would have preferred to be able to buy a trailer or something that you could put onto our SW/DAR/IF/ECT mounts so you could pull another player along with you. That would be awesome.

Well, that would mean that people would whine about not being able to get a form of trailer on the back of their mounts. It's a lose lose situation for Blizzard.

A slightly bulked-up horse to represent a shire would actually be pretty cool.
Though considering the response this announcement got, I think Blizzard should just pull back the extra mounts altogether.
Why do something for the community when the majority who responds just whines that it isn't enough?

While there are things that doesn't feel quite finished with Worgen, their fairly scarce presence makes perfect sense.

Goblins are aggressively expansionist, traders, explorers and so on.
The Gilneans are insular and built a wall to keep everyone else out, which worked for over 20 years.
That enough for an entire generation to grow to adulthood without meeting anyone else than other Gilneans.
That kind of insularity is hard to shake off even if you want to and I imagine quite a few Gilneans don't even want to try. Even if they are grateful to the kaldorei for their help.

The more of this thread I read, the more I think:

We complained about Alliance having less mounts than horde, so they are introducing 2 alliance mounts to balance it out.

But of course, this isn't good enough. Earlier in the thread I said I was shocked and thought it was quite harsh on the Worgen, but now I have seen a Blizzard response explaining the situation, I understand where they are coming from.

People who make worgens are more than aware that it comes without a mount, so choosing a mountless race and then complaining about it is just childish. Its like making a gnome and whining because you are short.

I think if we aren't careful, Blizz will give up trying to please our ever whining community, and will leave us to fight amongst ourselves.

And yes WoW players have the worst reputation as a community on the net, where MMOs are concerned, and I have to say I see why.
