What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
PvE. If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Raids, prot and ret. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Maintaining Inquisition, sub par dps without cds and procs. What makes playing your class more fun? Capable of multiple roles. And tanking. What makes playing your class less fun? Randomness in the retri rotation. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) Too random. When I don't proc stuff, I often end up waiting for spells to recharge, and when I chain proc I hit like a truck. What’s on your wish list for your class? Better scaling on Sanctity of Battle or lower cooldown on Crusader Strike and Divine Storm, Zealotry working with Divine Storm. I also want Holy Power for missed/parried/dodged Crusader Strikes, Divine Storms and Hammers of the Righteousness back, because it makes threat struggle if I don't hit all CS/HotR at the start, and it makes dps suffer a lot on fights where I have to stand in front of the boss (read Majordomo and Ragnaros). What spells do you use the least? Consecration, Seal of Justice. |

Retribution
What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both] PvE If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Heroic 5-mans. I try to do 10-man raids but it seems to me that many people don't like to take Retribution Paladins anymore. If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] I don't feel like I can play Ret PvP with much success, because of having to slowly build up power with Holy Power and all of my buffs get dispelled straight away. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Healing myself is usually a waste of time now, unless I get lucky and crit. What makes playing your class more fun? Paladins have a strong background story and I feel that they have more character than most other classes. I would like it if there was more emphasis on this in the world in general. What makes playing your class less fun? Being some sort of social outcast that people don't want to bring to a group. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) I like that it is a priority list; a set rotation would become tedious imo. However the procs are all over the place, and generally my dps is all about using my cooldowns. I can go from doing between 7-18k, then using GoaK, AW, Zealotry and trinkets it can go to over 30k dps. Inquisition is a chore. What’s on your wish list for your class? I would like to see Paladins reverted to how they were during WotLK. To me Cataclysm seemed like change for changes sake. I felt previously that Retribution worked absolutely fine, but now I enjoy it significantly less. What spells do you use the least? Concecration, it is weak and uses up more than half of my total mana. |

What type of content do you focus on?
PvE only. If PvE, what type of PvE? Raiding content. Not quite a hardcore guild but a guild managing to get a few heroic Firelands bosses down and hoping for more soon. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? Looking at this solely from a Holy perspective: Judging. It's not that I don't like judging, I just don't like that we have to constantly choose between judging or healing. On certain fights we're absolutely swimming in mana to an extent that is borderline ridiculous because we can judge so often. On other high damage fights we can't safely judge without risking a tank death. Reduce the amount of mana judging returns but take it off the global cooldown. That way our mana return is consistent and reliable. Of course this runs the danger that judgement just gets macroed into all our heals and becomes inconsequential. Likewise, Divine Plea as a mana cooldown feels clunky compared to the alternatives in other specs. Both our AoE spells requiring players to be clumped to be effective is also an issue. This hasn't been so much of a problem in Firelands as most the heavy damage phases allow for the raid to be stacked. I suspect this isn't always going to be the case in future raids, however, and Paladin AoE will really fall short. What makes playing your class less fun? See above largely with the addition of not being able to dps as effectively as the other healer classes. It would be nice if Holy has something more useful it could do during those phases (Chimaeron final phase, Alysrazor burn phase) without feeling largely useless. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) The single target style of healing is actually relatively interesting and dynamic. AoE, unfortunately is fire and forget once every 20 seconds. I would keep Holy Radiance as it is (for clumped scenarios - weaken it if necessary) but add a new AoE that works better in spread AoE situations and generated holy power for interaction with LoD (which needs a redesign in itself). What’s on your wish list for your class? Greater AoE healing versatility and a way to contribute more meaningfully to dps as Holy. What spells do you use the least? Flash. Absolutely no reason to use this as Holy. The only time it sees any use is Baleroc for generating stacks. LoD is also very situational in it's current iteration (speaking as a 10 man raider). |

I enjoy raiding
I like Arenas and BGs, Arenas for more competitive playing and BGs is always fun when you want casual pvp. Its almost impossible to find a good RBG group as a Ret Paladin, noone what so ever what me and no they dont care even if i have good gear.
Well this ones hard becouse i might feel something is a quality of life issue but you guys might not think it is in that category. But if you ask me its all of my good stuff like wings freedom and kings buff get so easily dispelled all the time its not even worth using and makes me fall behind in PVP.
If my spec "Ret" was competitive in PVP it would be alot more fun
There is not much to choose from in my talent tree as Ret and that makes me less uniqe and the game less fun.
Rets rotation is fine the only thing that does not fit in is holy wrath it feels wrong.
Same thing as every other ret that ever done some pvp ever wanted a proper slow! A passive one would rock!
Turn evil, Seal of justice (Its not a slow and it sucks and you know it), And our seals are really boring and bad i know you could change these to something cool and useful. |

■What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
PVE ■If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Raids / Heroics ■What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. .retribution wise: Have to coordonate too much cd (pala cd + trinket cd) related to burst sequence (instead of pressing the dps button), also too much wasted cd during brust phase, under blood lust and zealatory it's CS /TV, exo and hammer of wrath are not used. ■What makes playing your class more fun? .retri: Rotation, a good amount of my damage are holly damage, always wanted it to be since vanila. .Holy: having to constantly switch target to heal when the tank don't need to be focused, using the target of beacon of light as a jump to make my holy power charge growing faster in order to use powerfull instant spell when needed. I mean, keeping my tank alive but casting spell on other at the same time. -Having to judge, i like that even as a healer few offensive spell help me make my heal better in the end. Our guardian ! i love it and he looks great! but cd is too long. ■What makes playing your class less fun? retri: Sacrificing too much my dps to use cd on helping the raid, my hybride utility being greatly reduced in cata. Holly: My guardian in this spec just come and go after 5 spell, it's unfaire, guardian can't stand holly spec? why going away so quicly ? (i know duplicating spell is very powerfull but we see him a just few second) -my guardian seems too static, he should mimic the casting at the same time as me rather doing a quick move "hey !" when i cast my spell ■How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) .retri: great i love it, 2 proc interupting the usual rotation and sometimes switching priority's for smoother rotation (if jugement and exo are both up as fillers, jugement first is a better choice, exo being a proc it's better to make jugement rotation smoother). Holly: a real gameplay since cata, thanks. ■What’s on your wish list for your class? .retri: to have a dps output more in line with my gameplay quality and less RNG / burst cd related. -Also, having a cd sharing holy strike being more powerfull AND giving 1 holly charge, my concerne is, if we get haste caped for 4.3 and use just 1 filler instead of 2, it will get boring, it could also help smoothing our dps output. -Make inquisition graphicly trackable because it's not easy to monitore it when the buff timer is lost between 15 other buff, i shouldn't have use an add-on to make it clear since inquisition is our top priority. What about some wings or other graphic growing from the character then fading little by little ? -Reducing our guardian CD (reducing accordinatly his buff so nothing change in the end) so we can see him more often. -Ultimatly : for 5.0 Stop messing with haste cap impacting SO MUCH our gameplay, it's distrubing knowing we will in the end of expension have CS at 3 sec and it will change so much our charaters gameplay, you make me feel i have to wait the end of expensions to play the "what it should be" gameplay of retribution. .Holly: having crusader strike for this spec having a little use as a healer (healing the target of beacon of light for a % of the hit ?), being a healer in the melee is realy an intresting idea but shouldn't be forced on the spec i guess, but i would love to justifie waring plate and weapons not juste for the stat they provide. .characters as a whole, a few more animation (especialy for spell casting), when i'm chaining many instant spell it looks like a silly pew pew pew game, just one hitting and one casting new animatin to give some diversity would do the job. ■What spells do you use the least? Hand of protection, hand of salvation. They don't seems in line with the actual pve contant or really accasional on a very few encounter. |

ALL COMMENTS BELOW ARE REGARDING MY MAIN SPEC, RETRIBUTION
What type of content do you focus on? PvE exclusively If PvE, what type of PvE? Raids, very little else. If PvP, what type of PvP? N/A What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Paladins don't really have quality-of-life issues. I guess if I had to say something, it would be Ret healing took a heck of a knock while all other melee classes seemed to get a buff to the point where (outside of lay on hands) we have fairly weak heals, for both group off-healing and self-healing. What makes playing your class more fun? A sense of achievement from realising I'm getting results from the effort I put in, and that what I do actually matters - be it through utility (off-healing, stunning, using hands efficiently), or through concentrating on a challenging rotation. What makes playing your class less fun? Too much RNG, and too many gaps in the standard rotation, and far too much reliance on stacking multiple cooldowns every 2 minutes. Which basically sums up the state of things currently for Ret. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) I think it's poor. Some of the time there are irritating waits when all my abilities are on cooldown. Other times, my UI lights up like a christmas tree and the GCD becomes hugely frustrating. Also, the reliance on Avenging Wrath, Zealotry, Guardian of Ancient Kings, Potions and Trinket activation (as well as Bloodlust, which we have no personal control over) to get competitive DPS is horrible. It feels like you're only getting to DPS every 2 minutes, the rest of the time is just waiting for cooldowns. What’s on your wish list for your class? Less burst, more active (read:not dots or buffs from ability usage), controllable DPS. What spells do you use the least? I'm sure that there's 1 or 2 that are gathering dust (looking at you, Hand of Sacrifice), but the ability that I think is most criminally under-utilised is Word of Glory. I enjoyed chucking those around before the nerf. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
- Both ( Retribution spec ) If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] - Raids If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] - Arenas, BGs What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. - Holy Power System could be ok, but i feel like 1 and 2 Holy Power are useless, and you ONLY need to charge 3 Holy Power to being competitive ( this is from a dps point of view ). Always speaking about Holy Power, to make the system more interesting, could be an idea to also add effects based on Holy Power: eg: TV ability --> 1 Holy Power = Physical Dmg, 2 Holy Power Physical Dmg + Holy Dmg, 3 Holy Power = Physical + Holy + Dot. Thas was just an example. - Seal switch for different situations ( Single dps, AoE dps ) is ok, but from a pvp point of view, it could be improved abit, EG: ( a Hybrid Seal, not powerful as Truth in Damage, and not not so useful as Justice, but can replace them into a single Seal ) - Too much burst damage, would be better to have less burst, more costant dmg, and costant damage maybe also dependant from procs, but NOT SO dependant from procs. What makes playing your class more fun? - The fact it's a Hybrid class, not just in role, but also in type of damage ( Physical + Magic, Melee + Ranged ). And used as indeed palas can help the raid ALOT. What makes playing your class less fun? - As said above, a not perfect Holy Power System ( but can be improved ) - Speaking about PvP, and compared to other classes!!!, lack of CC mostly ( or better, we need some shorter Cds on CC. EG: Rep on 30 / 45 sec would already help a lot ). - Speaking about PvE, our dmg could be fine if not SO dependant from procs. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) - Our priority based rotation is fine and funny. What’s on your wish list for your class? - An useful slow effect in pvp, not OP ofc, but a little more useful then Seal of Justice ( the old Judgement of Justice is already MUCH better ) - Judgement damage increased. Less burst damage on Hammer of Wrath, and a little more costant damage on Judgement could be an idea. What spells do you use the least? -Consacration. It's useful, it's a part of our AoE damage ( and also Single Target ), but should cost less mana to make it more interesting. |

before i give my feedback i would like to thank the ones responsible for this idea.
What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both] both. siding more with PVE. If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] raids. If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] Arena. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. there are none that i can think of. What makes playing your class more fun? i can heal like priests. i can tank like warriors. and i can dps like rogues. enough said. What makes playing your class less fun? limited finishers for our holy power system in all 3 specs. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) as for holy and protection they seem ok but not perfect, since there is a gap sometimes and it doesn't feel right. as for retribution, it's very RNG reliant and it can get messy from time to time mainly due to the combination of art of war proc and Divine purpose proc. make room for zealotry as well. that makes all procs less valuable during zealotry. What’s on your wish list for your class? 1)make retribution less supportive more self reliant like DKs and Warriors. the idea of having for example do it like this. change selfless healer to something like Selfish healer. u know where it will go ;) and for my wish. make retribution paladins more valuable in Arenas. 2)please and please rethink the Word of Glory situation in Retribution spec. we don't want to use it for support reason. we want it more useful for us. What spells do you use the least? Seal of Justice. |

For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Retribution, the damage is cool only when procs Art of War and Divine Purpose and during Cooldown phase (Avenging Wrath, Guardian, and trinkets) What makes playing your class more fun? Doing damage during Heroism What makes playing your class less fun? When I'm out of mana because for Consecration, and when Divine purpose and Art of War are not activated. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) Well I use every damage spell that i have, only for Divine Purpose, i have a little idea, Adding a second ability(with a separated cooldown from Crusader Strike) to generate Holy Power, and change Divine Purpose that can proc with each weapon swing, Art of War is good and maybe change a bit the % of the proc. What’s on your wish list for your class? Boosting Holy Wrath, it's funny but the damage are very very low. Consecration, too expensive and too weak for Retribution, i wish a talent like Hallowed Ground. Change proc system, % too low. Change Final Talent spell, Zealotry is good, but is a cooldown, a good dps class have a maximum of 2 boosting cooldown, Avenging Wrath and Zealotry radically chenge your main rotation, so Avenging Wrath is Ok, Guardian can be boosted just a little, and the Zealotry can be change to a normal boosting cooldown that increade the Templar's Verdict and Crusader Strike damage or simply remove it. What spells do you use the least? Holy Wrath only for Divine Purpose, Consecration only for extra dps, but i can use it only two time before going out of mana, Turn Evil, very very very very very very very very useless. Retribution aura is too weak, i prefer using Devotion or Resistence to help the party, Seal of Justice, come on even in PvP is useless, I only use Seal of Truth, and Righteousness during a big pull of mobs. |

PvP •If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] N/A •If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] Rated BGs and Arena •What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Like Quark above me mentioned, maintaining Inquisition. It's the most annoying thing in the world. Also the fact that the DPS has been sub-par for most of the expansion. I also dislike how everyone of my major cooldowns can be dispelled really easily. •What makes playing your class more fun? Popping Wings and watching the damage roll out. •What makes playing your class less fun? The rotation. It's far too clunky. The fact that Ret Paladins are extremely proc reliant and cd reliant. And the fact my damage can be shut down at the click of a button without much thought. Dispelling should be a privilige, not something everyone and their mother can do. •How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) It's boring and uninteresting. There's far too many procs to be dealing with. •What’s on your wish list for your class? Some dispel protection would be nice. Freedom removing stuns once again would also help boost our survivability. WoG dependancy has got to go. Sure it's a nice heal but it heals for retarded amounts on partners. I'd rather have a real peel than a dumb heal every 10 secs. Even at that it takes about 12 secs to build 3 Holy Power. I'd also like Crusader Strike to be baseline 3 second cooldown and Sanctity of Battle completely changed. Waiting on things to come off cooldown is f**cking boring. Maybe Ret. Aura could be buffed. •What spells do you use the least? Concecration. Holy Light. Retribution Aura. |

Holy: Since I raid 10-Man we have on several occasions ended up without replenishment. The lack of this buff hugely impacts my mana and how I heal, making fights much harder than they have to be. Retri: Keeping Inquisition up is a task I find tedious, and the only way to do it effectively requires an add-on. It doesn't add much to the game play except a timer to look after, and wasting a global CD from time to time. The many different types of heals I get to use depending on situation, mastering utility spells and saving people from rather grim situations. Something I really enjoyed as Retribution in WotLK was the many utility spells I could use (Sacred Shield, instant Flash of Light, Hand of Protection, Lay on Hands, Divine Guardian, Aura Mastery, Hand of Salvation and probably something more) to save the raid, while still performing among the highest DPS. Sadly these seem to be disappearing or getting spread out to different trees. I like utility spells! Holy Power and Inquisition for Retribution are no fun. Retri: There is nothing I really like in this rotation... it's boring and Inquisition makes it even worse. - Replenishment for Holy. - Lower CD on Hand of Protection as Holy (current tree has better talents than speccing it). - Combined BoK and BoM (why not? :P) - More benefits from Mastery. - More utility spells. - Better effect from Guardian, and lower CD. Concentration Aura: I NEVER use this! Guardian of Ancient Kings: I rarely find a good time to use this and with the 5 minute CD I often want to save it for a special occasion, that never occurs. Since a paladin often heals a tank, I feel this gives me more overheal than actual help. If I were to heal the raid instead, I wouldn't be using my largest heals, resulting in not that much extra heal for the next 5 spells. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
- PvE If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] - Primarily raids 10 man. Currently Retribution specced but gearing up for Protection. If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] - I do enter 2 vs 2 sometimes What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. - What makes playing your class more fun? - I like having access to many different kinds of beneficial spells. Being able to stop a wipe every now and then with Lay on Hands for example, makes me enjoy playing the class. I also like the class mounts, since they make me feel more special than other classes. The fact that I can DPS my target from a distance sometimes, despite being melee is also quite fun. What makes playing your class less fun? - It seems impossible to gear up for doing proper damage. As my role is DPS in raids, it can sometimes ruin my evening that my DPS relies heavily upon luck instead of skill. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) - The rotation relies too much upon luck. More reliable DPS would be nice. What’s on your wish list for your class? - I'd like to be able to use Polearms. Since Paladin is a class with almost limitless numbers of abilities, I don't wish for more abilities, just more consistent DPS. What spells do you use the least? - Depends on the situation, though I rarely heal myself and taunt, since I'm retribution specced. I almost never use any of the "Hand of ..." spells, except hand of freedom in pvp. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
PvE If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] 5-man heroics with an interest in raiding in future tiers If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. None that can't be answered in other questions. What makes playing your class more fun? high survivability, useful utility spells What makes playing your class less fun? Retribution relies way too heavily on fillers and procs to deal effective damage. My main issue with the spec is the longer than necessary cooldown for Crusader Strike, which results in Holy Power building slowly and forcing us to rely on low damage fillers such as Holy Wrath and Judgement to keep our damage consistent. The recent hotfix for Censure is a step in the right direction, but it simply doesn't address the core issues with the spec atm. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) Despite what I stated in the previous question, I like Ret's rotation, it's definately keeps me alert, although, I do feel that this may be to the detriment of my situational awareness during 5-mans. What’s on your wish list for your class? A improvement in our damage to the extent that our procs provide a spike in our overall damage rather than being necessary to maintain a respectable level of damage. Other than that, I hope that there are more ways to accumulate Holy Power in the future outside of Crusader Strike and Divine Storm. I also hope that future Tier sets look as cool as T12 did (except without the textures looking like cloth rather than plate) What spells do you use the least? Consecration - I rarely use it, unless I am tanking, then it becomes rather useful for maintaining threat on multiple targets. Hand of Salvation - If I pull aggro, my first thought is to simply kite the mob until the tank picks it up. Turn Evil - Repentance renders this spell completely redundant in Ret, plus there are other classes such as mages and hunters that fill the Crowd Control role much better than a paladin can currently. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
Both. If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Just general dungeons. If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] Just general Battlegrounds. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Ret doesn't really feel particularly fun to play at all. What makes playing your class more fun? Protection is very enjoyable. I suppose I like all the graphical effects too, I'm like a walking disco. What makes playing your class less fun? Retribution is confusing and has inconsistent DPS. Seems needlessly complicated. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) Protection rotation and abilities I think are fine, I'd leave them alone. Retribution though... it feels a mess. It doesn't feel consistent at all and is pretty confusing. Rotational order or priority isn't that clear, over-reliance on inconsistent procs. Holy power feels clunky and more of a hinderance than a bonus. What’s on your wish list for your class? I'd really like to see Retribution's rotation/priority system become as reactive, easy and enjoyable as a Frost DK, as at the moment it just feels needlessly confusing and jumbled. Protection I'd not really wish for too much as I like it as it is. Although if I wanted to be picky I'd like avenger's shield to hit more targets, or a form of charge, but I don't feel it's particularly needed. What spells do you use the least? Turn evil. |

PVE If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Raids (Tank) If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] -- What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Holy shield shouldn't be an ability, people just macro it into AS now anyhow. Redemption costs way too much mana to cast, if Mass res is on cooldown I have to res one person, drink res another. What makes playing your class more fun? The rotation, abilitys and general paladinness of it! What makes playing your class less fun? No charge or any speed boosts what so ever, unlike other tank classes. Which makes me way less effective in certain situations. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) It's generally fine, although Sotr is abit more hit and miss then others main threat move. If I miss a CS my Sotr technically takes 3 seconds longer to come off 'cd' What’s on your wish list for your class? Some form of a charge. What spells do you use the least? Turn evil, holy wrath is also pretty pathetic as a filler. |

For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. Well, only one small one. Blessings hold 1h, Seals only 30 min. Nothing else comes to my mind What makes playing your class more fun? In Cataclysm? Or compared to other classes? Well, the HolyPower System in my eyes works really well. So that is a big plus. And it works as healer, tank and dps. Very nice. What makes playing your class less fun? Well, I don't like the Ret Paladins total proc luck thing. Without procs or CDs the rotation can be very boring sometimes with no buttons to be pushed. Waiting is less fun for sure. Also Holy DPS is very very bad. Yes with the new Exorcism 6 Sec -100% crit you can use something like damage, but the damage still is really very low compared to the other healer. "Something" else and fun to do when not healing would be welcome. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.). Prot works good. Feels good and tight and enough CDs for the oh-!@#$ moments. Perfect (I play prot since classic, so the rotation improved in every expansion, now I'm really happy!). Holy, works very well in PvE and PvP. We have some AoE Heal, defensive CDs but as always we excel in tank healing and that is very fun as always. But Ret is my big complain. Sometimes you could press 6 buttons in 2 GCDs, the next 5 GCDs you have only 3 to press and some waiting time. So the DPS and also the fun is totally random. Don't know how to fix it, but maybe something could help. What’s on your wish list for your class? Well, Bears can charge, Warriors can charge/intercept/jump/intervene, DKs can grip only Prot Paladin is like totally static in the way he tanks. I would wish some movement talent/skill so Paladins can also move faster. Just as a tank or course. But would be a huge advantage also to encounter design if everybody could do "something" (bosses have then to be not immune to grip of course) to maneuver. Else as healer (we do have AoE, a HoT would be nice, but we survived so far without one..) What spells do you use the least? Well, I still rarely use Holy Light. In PvP it is to slow and does not heal enough and in raids it is kinda the same issue. Then I don't use Seal of Righteousness. Yes, I probably should use it on my Ret Spec during Trash, but also there we kinda focus, so I use it very seldom if at all. Rest I use often I would say. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
Mostly PvE but a bit of PVP If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Heroic Raids What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? People getting mad at crusader aura What makes playing your class more fun? Literally being able to save the raid and skip mechanics with my amazing tool-kit of spells. Also being able to play all 3 different roles to it's fullest What makes playing your class less fun? Nothing :D Pleased with the current status of the class How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) I actually like it a lot. Expecting to see the most of it in retribution, when haste gets high enough. Holy paladin's tool-kit seems diverse enough to keep me interested, while protection has a lot of interesting aspects to it, if you look beyond the usual holy power generating attacks. What’s on your wish list for your class? A class flying mount (golden armor gryphon) and divine intervention. Why add mass ress and remove divine intervention. What spells do you use the least? Seal of justice in PvE and Consecration in general Note: (What's with all these retributions not using holy wrath?) |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
Both If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] 5 man heroics, Dailies and old raids If PvP, what type of PvP? [Arenas, BGs, Rated BGs] BGs What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? Having to wait quite some time for proc's like art of war and divine purpose as a ret paladin. The loss of Divine intervention. And the loss on seal of blood for blood elf paladins (it took away a part of the blood knight lore) (just a personal note) What makes playing your class more fun? Having the utilities to turn the battle. Like saving your teammate with a lay on hand, or interrupting that dangerous spell since Cataclysm. What makes playing your class less fun? The loss on self survivability. Although it's already semi fixed now, retribution still seems to lack that 1 small thing that other classes have to survive. How do you feel about your “rotation”? As retribution: The rotation isn't that bad but the moments where i just need to wait, watching my screen... to see the abilities go off cd with nothing to do, can be annoying. Rng shouldn't be a part of the rotation. As protection: It's alright. Can't really add more to it. What’s on your wish list for your class? - An on command ability for retribution (or at least a short cd one) to fill up that boring moment in the retribution rotation. - Perhaps a return of the old 'Seal of the Crusader' for Retribution instead of 'Sanctity of Battle' (it would reduce the cd on Crusader Strike and Divine Storm while active like the cd on CS as protection) - Would love to have another good looking armor set. Gold with red with some tints to the holy part of the paladin. - Perhaps holy magic glowing weapons for retribution. What spells do you use the least? Turn evil: Glyphed is somewhat fine but there are better major glyphs as well as not allot of targets to use it on anyway this expansion. Consecration: Mainly as ret. It consumes allot of mana for just a few ticks of damage. Still use it if theres allot of mobs. Hand of Sacrifice: I only use it in pvp at times. Depends on the situation. |

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
PvE If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other] Questing, soloing, some instances. Not playing this character much due to disliking current state of Retribution. What are your biggest quality-of-life issues? For instance, no longer requiring ammo could be considered a quality-of-life improvement for hunters. I haven't played Holy in a while, so I can't tell much, but as ret, it's extreme reliance on cooldowns and procs. And the half-baked Holy Power mechanics, which is fine by itself, but poorly executed. What makes playing your class more fun? (Ret) Having actual influence on my performance, rather than procs having it instead of me. What makes playing your class less fun? Current state of Holy Power implementation. How do you feel about your “rotation”? (Rotation is the accepted order in which abilities are used to maximum efficiency.) Holy - haven't used it for a while, so can't say much. I like the choice of WoG or LoD, but I think it would be a nice addition to make Inquisition boost healing too. That would add an, I think, interesting choice for Holy Paladins - free single target heal, free AoE heal or a boost to your normal, paid heals. Prot - overall good, the choice of WoG or SotR is an interesting one, but I would like SotR to do something more apart from damage. Ret - I hate it with a passion. Very few abilities available without HP or procs - CS, Judgement, and that's basically it. When both are on cooldown and you don't have 3HP, you can do squat. WotLK model of mashing whatever lights up might have been faceroll, but at least it was, for a lack of better word, dynamic. Current system is not, unless lots of procs happen at the same time, in which case it's chaotic. I also hate so much of my damage comes from procs - be it free TW or instant Exorcism. I also greatly miss using Divine Storm more often. Please add something to do between cooldowns and procs, and greatly reduce the reliance on procs. RNG is NOT fun. What’s on your wish list for your class? Better implementation of Holy Power system for all specs, more things to do actively as Ret, less reliance on procs as Ret. |
