WoW on Windows 8 x64

It works! :)
It works without problems oh and it's better:) I expereienced a little frame rate increase(AMD HD 5770) around 5-10 fps higher on ultra settings now. Also windows 8 is smoother, more free RAM, you can achive a little better performance. The operating system is NOT EVEN IN BETA, If You willing to download don't forget this. But I haven't experienced any issues( excepting the windows explorer freezes if I try to open a zip file with the build in "zip opener" My own impressions not microsoft told me... I'm not a fan of Microsoft(because I'm a fan of Google and Android) but if something is good well...it's good( I just don't like how the metro style looks like(pref. android style :P ), but what the system can do is awesome) |

im gonna wait a year before even trying windows 8, all new OS's have alot of bugs, that dont get discovered during the open beta test.

Except for the metro style interface and the removal of the start menu. I'm looking forward to Windows 8.
Removing the start menu just to sell more apps with the metro interface is what will make this version the vista equivelant. They have windows 7 as a back up though. Just as they had with Vista. |

@Zilla let me clear this out, windows 8, its windows 7 architecture with new features. So no, you should not wait for a year because its already bug free (almost). The only bugs you may experience its with the metro thingy; im not experience any bug yet btw. I love this OS!

I cant get Wow to launch though when i press Play in the Launcher though. It just crash instantly afterwards.
I have tried reinstalling it, used compability mode and run as administrator. Anyone have a clue what can be the problem? Btw, WIN 8 is awesome and will be even better when they release it! |
