On a side note: why all the fuss? Blizzard is finally managing to cater to the casual raiders, hardcore raiders and those in the middle.

Will all 3 difficulty levels share the same raid lock??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Why not just sort out the token problem by removing the class requierments for said token? You still have to kill the boss, but the token can be given away to whoever wins the roll/bid.
heroic and normal raids will stay the same. LFR will be on a separate lock out, not even locked out I belive. |

I'm just wondering if it would be possible to make loot drops more "intelligent", what I mean by this is for the loot that drops to be something that can be used by the class and spec of the players in the raid. So many times my guild DE's loot because its unwanted, and we even had to vendor a token from Staghelm as we didnt have the right class in the raid

RNG is mean to be RNG |

Nobody has commented on the fact that more more slots will have valor points items available .
I wonder if blizz will offer us non set helms or shoulders ? Many of us casual players have relied on the points rewards to improve our gear non raiders need something to aim for & belive it or not we take satisfaction in getting an item ( through a slower process than raiding I agree ) after a lot of hard work ! I raided back in vanilla & it was fantastic but times change & I now have a family & with it a lot less game time . But I still enjoy wow & want to constantly improve my character even with limited game time ! I want to see as much content as I can & maybe with the new raidfinder I will :) |

dude, what do you expect?
People who want's to raid must understand this: IF you want to raid, you must read tactics and know your class and abilities somehow atleast, and hopefully aswell read guides on how to improve your dps, because let's face it: lots of player's should be capable to deal much more dps with the gear they have. Overall I like this a little, 3 difficulties will hopefully make it easier to gear up and I hope the raid finder gear will have better stats than the heroics. Tho.. if there will be an easier kind of the 359 ilvl normals, daumn, then they surely will be god damn easy O_o |
I REFUSE to be a RAID SLAVE!!! I have 3 lv 85 ilv 370+, in this server, i play for the last 5years and before that I WAS with and other account from the beginning of WOW! You are doing it wrong. Raid gear is for raiders. Raid or make do with the non raid gear Blizzard has been kind enough to give you on the welfare system. |

So basically...more like.. Diet T13 (for the Bads and the Bored) Normal T13 (For the Puggers and the normals) Heroic T13 (for those who seek challange and the Skilled) |
I REFUSE to be a RAID SLAVE!!! I have 3 lv 85 ilv 370+, in this server, i play for the last 5years and before that I WAS with and other account from the beginning of WOW! WTF, raid to get raid gear, what is this MADNESS?? |

T13 from Raid Finder pugs is perhaps the best idea you're going to implement in perhaps a long time. Thank you!

Awesome changes. :]
LFR tool will allow everyone to experience current content and get upgrades to their 5 men heroics gear, while keeping it challenging for players who have the time and the skill to progress through normal and heroic content. The ability to complete sets by doing LFR will also cut out all the whine from people who can't complete their tier sets due to having to do raids to get the head and the shoulders. Basically, now everyone should be happy. I'm loving it. :D |

i just hope this wont share a lockout with normal mode, or it really will just be under used. IF i have to choose between raiding with my guild or a bunch of randoms who are in honesty not going to be amazing, for less rewards i know which i'd choose. If it has a seperate lockout though, it sounds like an amazing addition to the game, and i approve of the 3 different tier sets, but im unsure of the tokens yet. I guess it will lead to less disenchanted gear which is always good.

No new BH boss probably means that the RRF will be offering similar types of T13 tokens so people shouldn't get too carried away thinking that using and abusing RRF will grant them access to 4pc T13 in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Just wanted to say that I doubt I'll ever use the raid finder.
I'm currently levelling my 3rd Resto Druid, pugging normal 5-mans up to 85. I'll then put in the work with my guild to raid *as a guild* and hopefully reap the rewards both for my self in terms of loot and achievements, and my guild as we progress. We are not a hard-core raiding guild, our progress right now is still T11. That's fine by me. I've done the hard-core bit through Wrath. Don't want or need to do that again. I'm slightly disappointed that T13 won't be available through valour, but I'm sure that when T14 appears, then T13 will be sold through the vendors, DMF or whatever. In order for the raid finder to be successful, raids will have to be tuned to cater for groups without any cohesion, communication (or possibly skill?) and will become just slightly more intense 5-man heroics. I have no problem with that, and people using it shouldn't expect to receive the same rewards as groups who have spent time and energy forming and maintaining a cohesive team. Raids should be *hard*. BAzz @Syzygosa http://gplus.to/bazz ps.. I still think Karahzan was the best designed and most interesting raid ever. pps Bring back class quests! |

As others said one token for everyone. Just lower the drop rate if needed and at least no tokens will be wasted.
I was eager to try the LFR but I was expecting it working like a PuG raid... 1) Minimum ilvl average for every raid (just like 85/hero dungeons) 2) A progression check, clear at least BWD or whatever before you can queue for Firelands. 3) Same loot/difficulty as normal raids. Perhaps a "luck of the draw" buff, after all is PuG 4) A ton of wipes. An easier raid with crap gear just feels wrong. The only way to make that worse is giving the same models for everyone just with different colors. That sucks big time for casuals and non casuals. Blizz you better start hiring for your artist departament or better yet bring back the BC artists to the team cause this is pathetic. There are how many 10? 11? million paying players? And they can't afford to make 2 different tiers? Something is very wrong. |
|
hey blizz only nerf the casual fail mode, thanks :D
|
Thank you! I am so bored of content getting nerfed, where just one day ago you claimed victory after 2 weeks of wipes. Finally they come up with a solution that works out for everyone....but wait: How the !@#$ are 25 random randoms, not even pre-selected in some kind of "gear and xp check", killing any bosses ??? I guess it must be Argaloth difficulty then... |
