My bad, I noticed you just recently started raiding but missed the part about just having finished leveling JC, apologies :)

Chest needs to be 75 stam, I could understand if it were a random questing blue, but thats a 359 epic ;)
VP bracers if you this is an alt and you have a main with stockpiled VP. Knowing very little about warrior tanking I do not think that dodge is the optimal enchant either.
Hands, 65 mastery > 50 mastery, but if you're strapped for cash I can understand this one.

Other than that it looks good: some upgrades can be picked up from the Zandalari heroics, but they quickly become boring.

You're gear seems fine except those obvious blues you still have. You should get yourself to Therazane exalted and get the slightly better shoulder-enchant, and you've only got 55+ stamina on your chest.

Just keep doing heroics/raids and upgrade those blues and you'll be fine.

:D

Nice Avoidance stats you got, remember to use the jc full mastery gems x3 and farm some trolls for valor, grab all 378 you can with vp and go into firelands, will be easy for you to maintank em !

I'm no expert as I've only recently started my Pala tank, but I'm sure dodge and parry rating should be more or less the same.

Other than that I'm quite jealous of your gear :D

Kelandra; Nope, due to hold the line warrior tanks often will want a little bit more parry than dodge, but for paladin tanks that is true, yes.

Ignore me, had both my chars commented earlier. Rate Kelandra :)

@Rágnar

1. craft Elementium Earthguard
2. go ZA for the hex lord malacrass Pauldrons of Sacrifice
3. for the last tip, maybe get to molten front last phase and replace trinket 1 with Moonwell Phial

The rest is small stuff, you do a great job for pre-raid gearing! ;)

I have a question about specifically dodge and parry stats, since i sacrificed a lot of dodge and parry for mastery to make my block chance to 65% while my dodge is 13.89% and parry is 13.85% . What do you think about it,should i keep it like this or try another way?

Not so sure with regards Pally, hardly playede mine Im sorry.

I'm just gearing up really, but dodge is 35% ish and HP around 165k unbuffed, 200k or so buffed. (In bear form ofc :p)

More interested in dodge really and only tank HC's ; any advice would be lovely jubbly :)

Gems - Red gem pure agility, yellows gem agi/dodge or agi/mastery, and blues agi/stam.
Gear - I would suggest you do the molten front dailys for Moonwell Phial trinket to replace the brewfest one and keep grinding justice for Fluid Death trinket to replace the alchemist stone.
Talents - You should probably take the talents out of Nurturing Instinct, Stampede, and feral aggression and put them into Brutal Impact and King of the Jungle.

Remember stamina isn't as important as you think it is, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with it really. However, agility is much more useful. It's like a Druid tank's super stat as it gives dodge, crit and AP!

I am no expert, I have in any case gone the same way when gearing my pally (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/eonar/Lahn/advanced), we have nigh identical stats. Gives about 99% ctc if I recall correctly at the moment.

The EJ prot pally thread is http://elitistjerks.com/f76/t123600-prot_4_2_flames/ which may give more exact information on this.

Btw ignore me, my tanks are already covered and this one is not a tank :P

You're doing it right. Remember you cannot rely on dodge or parry to do their thing, but you can count on block.

Gotta post again for feedback, looks like not all respond with a comment on the above tank -thus people start to reply to their comments and rating them -what? Maybe the rule should say "the tank above that also rated someone"? :P Anyway, fire away!

OK I will fire away:)

You have the rep needed so replace the pvp ring with Signet of the Elder Council
Also since you only use 3 pieces of the pvp set you can replace the gloves with the ones from the molten front dailies Aviana's Grips.

Posting this protadin in here. Yes it's an alt in heirlooms not yet eighty-five, but just wondering if I'm doing it right. Is mastery-stacking the best paladin avoidance to be gunning for, what's the ranking dodge/parry -wise. Yes I know there's numerous crit/haste pieces in the gear, but again, was taking 'em for high ilvl for levelling/mastery provision. Good/bad talents/glyphs you can point out would be nice. Thanks.

@Rickröllèd: Level to 85 :-) Get the crafted, JP and VP pieces.

Gems: Mastery (Yellow), Stam/Mastery (Blue), Dodge/Stam or Parry/Stam (Red), Stam+Armor (Meta)

Talent-wise: Drop Eye for an Eye for 3/3 Crusade and drop Pursuit of Justice. Drop Hallowed Ground and get Divine Guardian, and Argent Defender. And probably some I missed.

Stat wise: Mastery is one of the best stats.
