I need to make update the sticky and since I'm unfortunately not Radish (loved her green text!) I need to make a new one. Thank you to everyone who reports this for a sticky!
As a replacement for the old one: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/916824865 ------- WHAT IS THE ARGENT ARCHIVES? The Main Goal of the Argent Archives (AA) Webportal is to tie the roleplayers of Argent Dawn (AD) together. One visit to the portal should be enough to understand what is currently happening in the realm. here players can present their characters, guilds and role-play experiences (through stories, screens, artwork etc), but also check current news, plan events, read stories and see others work. Our URL: http://www.argentarchives.org OUR PRINCIPLES The website have been up for over four years now and we believe the reason that almost 20 000 characters are registered there comes from these simple principles: 1. The AA is 99% In Character (IC) We do not allow forum trolls, flamers or other negative contributors to post on the AA. Our site is dedicated to 100% fun for roleplayers. 2. The AA is easy to use Though it may look like a wiki, you do not need to know html to edit the information on the site. Each user is also responsible for his posts. Nobody can edit your content. 3. The AA is open for all We do not judge 'good RP' from 'bad RP'. This has a double benefit to our users; On the AA you will find those you want to RP with, but you'll also find those you want to stay away from. THE ARCHIVES IN GAME The website is in some ways a representation of the The Argent Archives in Ironforge, though it is up to each character to decide what information is only on the site for OOC purposes, and what (in their mind) is actually written in the Archives in game. Try to accommodate for this during roleplay and avoid invading people's privacy. Take the tour: http://www.argentarchives.org/tutorial1 The website is run by passionate, volunteers from the AD community. If you need help, you can: - read the FAQ: http://www.argentarchives.org/FAQ - contact us at contact@argentarchives.org - contact the AA Web Team members directly The AA Web Team is run by a handful of volunteers. These five are:
Alabast (A), Eiswein (A), Aemia (H) Mgurk (H) Isadolde (A) Barloy (A), Gernwald (H) Do not discuss your account info with someone not on this list! For more information, go to: http://www.argentarchives.org/about More to come. |

The Argent Archives is clearly one of the best things that ever happened to this realm and probably the reason why Argent Dawn stands a bastion of Role-Play.
The team of AA (Argent Archives) had the maturity to turn their project into something that could serve the server and be completely NEUTRAL. Being NEUTRAL a main key for its success. The fact that it has been on for so long and it still keeps evolving and trying to find better ways to serve the community is nothing but a reflection of the hard work you guys do. I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the terrific work you have been doing. You are truly a blessing to this server and this community. Role-play is about communication and Argent Archives is truly enhancing this by allowing us to advertise events, create more unique characters, write IC documents, tell stories, describe the guilds in detail, etc, etc, etc. I could go on and on with the compliments to your work, but I think I that this is enough to express my opinion. If you allow me, I would like to leave a suggestion to you *points at you* and to everyone who read this article: Advertise the website as much as you can. GM’s and Officers can do it on their guilds and everyone (including unguilded players) can tell their friends. The more people we get to use the website, the better for us all. People will gain more interest in Role-Play and will probably start to realize the guilds and players that are actually making an effort for our community. This will also lead to an increase of attendants in Role-Play events that are posted on the website. So yeah…. My suggestion? Advertise it in game. There are still some role-players that havent heard about this wonderful pillar of our community. *Nimsil Quickcoin removes his hat and kneels before Alablast and his team* |

Requested sticky.
Why does that sound wrong. |
|
|
Have a sneaky sticky from another server.

|
Requested sticky. Give that back. |

A fantastic tool, that does not deserve the moaning from some of the lazy folk plumbing the depths of cynicism, while they link every possible misdemeanor, and meanwhile do nothing for the server themselves.

Sticky requested! :)
