Battle for Gilneas City Quest

Hi,
I've been trying to complete this quest but at the end in Greyman Court everyone seems to disappear, leaving slyvannas and all the undead to come back again. I have to go all the way back to the beginning to start it again but the same thing happens again when I get to the same spot. Is there something wrong with the quest itself or am I doing something wrong? Please help |

Indeed, ever since one of the "hotfixes" during 4.1 this quest has been extremely buggy.
One time it just works, the other 8 times it doesn't. On a different alt it took me 6 tries to finally get trough the buggyness of this quest. GM Ticket responce: We know it is buggy, just keep trying till you get trough >_> |

The way to make sure you get through this in one attempt is to mark prince greymane and stick to him like glue..even if he keeps going back and forth..just stay with him.
Dont worry too much about using the rapier to spur on your fellows. You can use the catapults in the square to help bring down the giant monster but dont loose sight of the prince on the horse. When you get to the battle with Sylvanus be very carefull NOT to use the rapier buff near her as it will do the same as it does to your friends and giver her new health. I tend to not use it at all in this battle..the story will run its course whether you help or not. Sit just out of aggro range and wait till its complete. For short moment you are glued to the spot while the kings speech plays out, then go into the door behind to complete the quest. |
