We have made an update about the Annual Pass Beta Invite which can be found here.

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3888940471

Our extremely popular World of Warcraft Annual Pass offer has been updated in preparation for the forthcoming Diablo III launch, so now’s the time to sign up for it if you haven’t done so already!

We’ve also taken a few moments to update this sticky topic with a few additional points, the recently amended eligibility criteria and the updated Terms of Use for the promotion.

Please Note: There are several limitations on which accounts will be able to participate in this scheme, so if you’re receiving the message that your account or accounts are not eligible then please take a moment to read through our updated official FAQ;

World of WarCraft Annual Pass FAQ
http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/world-of-warcraft-annual-pass-faq

If, after having done so, you are certain that you meet all the eligibility criteria, but still cannot sign up for the Pass, you’re then welcome to get in contact with our Account and Payment team for further advice (contact information can be found at the bottom of this sticky).

Please be aware, however, that our Accounts team will not be able to bypass any of the updated eligibility criteria, so we would discourage players from making requests of this kind.

Some Commonly Asked Questions – A Reference Guide

    NEW!
So, you said the eligibility criteria has changed? What’s different now?
The original criteria, requiring an account to have been created prior to a certain date, and players to have reached the age of majority within their country of residence before said date has been updated so that even more players can take advantage of this fantastic offer.
The new “cut off” date is now March 13, 2012, so newer players that meet all the other eligibility criteria should now be able to sign up!

    NEW!
      Has anything else changed?
            Yes, in fact.
Now that the release date for Diablo III has been officially announced, the Annual Pass has been given a definite end date, beyond which it’ll no longer be possible to sign up.
The new end date for the promotion is April 30th, 2012, so if you’re interested then make sure not to leave it too late.

    NEW!
What’s this I hear about the Mists of Pandaria Beta having started? I’ve signed up for the Pass, so surely I get my invitation now, no?
Yes, these invitations will now start to be sent out to those players registered to the WoW Annual Pass, but we’ll be sending the invites out in waves, so it may take a little time to get round to everyone.
In general terms, however, Annual Pass subscribers will be added to the Beta in order of seniority, so those with the longest active WoW subscriptions are likely to receive their invitations in the earlier waves.
Please do not contact customer support asking for your Beta invitation to be expedited – we will not be able to manually flag players or accounts for Beta access.

Where’s the option to pay for 12 months in one go. I can’t find it!
There isn’t actually an option to pay in one lump sum – you simply create a recurring subscription payment for the account in question, and you’ll continue to be billed as normal for the duration of the 12 month contract.

But you said I could use prepaid gamecards to fulfil the 12 months?
Yes, that’s correct. You will, however, need to register a credit card against the account to sign up as a guarantee that subscription will be maintained for the full year. If you then choose to add prepaid gamecards to the account, these will take priority over your credit card subscription and, if you add sufficient time (or time before each credit card payment is due), you won’t be billed at all on your card.

What about my current subscription? Do I need to cancel it? I don’t want two subs on the same account!
No need to worry about any previous subscription – anything you select in signing up for the Annual Pass will simply become your new subscription and continue when your current paid gametime expires.

My payment method isn’t listed! Why not?
Please be aware that payment types that do not allow a recurring subscription to be set up will not count towards the requisite credit card subscription you’ll need to set up on the account. You can, as mentioned above, still pay for your gametime using other methods, but we do need a credit card attached to you account as well, as a guarantee.

Can I use my free month from Recruit A Friend or Scroll of Resurrection for this?
If you are trying to use the free month at the start of the contract and have not yet paid, then they would not count. However if you are already in the middle of the contract and get the reward during this time, this will contribute towards your 12 months.

      It’s telling me that my account isn’t eligible – I don’t understand!
Please see the top section of this sticky, as it contains information on how to get in touch with us if your account still isn't eligible and, having read the restrictions, you believe that it should be.

Ok, I’ve changed my mind, and I’d like to cancel the WoW Annual Pass (and my subscription that goes with it). Can I do that?
In general terms no, you won't be able to cancel, and the contract specifies this as part of the agreement. If you believe you have an exceptional set of circumstances that warrant further consideration, however, you’ll need to get in touch with our Account and Payment team directly for further assistance – the contact details can be found in the section at the bottom of this sticky.

When do I get all my goodies from the promotion? Do I have to pay for a full year’s worth of WoW subscription first?
Nope, as stated in the FAQ, this is a contract that you’ll continue to keep paying a recurring subscription for the next 12 months.
This means that, as long as you keep your payments up, as soon as the relevant items become available they’ll automatically be added to your account. Please note that the Tyrael's Charger mount takes up to 72 hours after activation to arrive.

What happens if I can’t pay at some point during the promotion? Will I lose everything?
This one’s a little tricky to answer, as it’s likely to depend on your particular set of circumstances at the time (should this happen).
Obviously, the agreement is that you maintain recurring subscription for the full year, but if for some reason you realise that this won’t be possible then you should please get in touch with our Account and Payment team immediately so that they can discuss options with you.

What happens if my account is banned?
If you break our Terms of Use and we unfortunately have to ban the account then due to the payment stopping, this would cancel the contract and you would also lose access to Diablo 3, the mount and the beta access. Be aware that temporary suspensions would not affect this.

      What happens if I'm compromised?
If you are compromised during the 12 month period, this will be taken into consideration during the recovery process.
Please make sure, however, that after you’ve regained access to your account, you check to make sure that you still have an active payment method attached to the account, to avoid the potential for your contract lapsing accidentally.

I have a query that you haven’t answered in this mini-FAQ or the main one! Heeeeeeeelp!
We’ll be adding to this sticky throughout the day with any other frequent questions, but in general terms it’s likely best that you contact our Account and Payment team directly. Contact details for them can be found in the bottom section of this sticky.
