[Server]Balnazzar is dead

The server Balnazzar is dead, completely. Trade chat, no activity. Stormwind, 30 people at peak hours. Tol Barad, 15 if you're lucky. Atleast on the Alliance side, I made an alt on the Horde side, Allianced, talked to some people in trade channel and the Horde side isn't as bad as the Alliance side but it still suffers from a low population. A transfer from Balnazzar or to Balnazzar will not help because some people won't notice the free transfer from Balnazzar and people who are thinking about going to a different server won't go to a dead server. So please Blizzard, hear our call and merge our server with something else.
And don't place this in the Balnazzar forum because we already know that this is a dead server. I already made a ticket about this and the GM told me to make a topic about it, so here you have it Blizzard, I hope you'll do something with it. |

I agree! This server is dead, something has to be done. I moved one of my characters because it's horrible to play on, nothing to do. 1 Message each 10th minute in the trade channel. I support this merge!

Transfered here from Frostmane, so I could play with some friends.. Little did I know that the server would be so immensely dead!
There's more people dueling outside SW on frostmane, than there is hordes in Orgrimmar at peak hours. Kinda ridiculous! |

I moved here for a guild, and i went from what i thought was a low pop realm to this and this is just stupid.

No. No no no a thousand times no. I played on Magtheridon before it got switched to pve. I was content there. Sure, it was empty, but it didn't bother me. It was where my friends played, there was one functioning raiding guild (which was enough), and things ticked over just fine. Eventually, enough people complained, or Blizzard had made the decision for themselves, I'm not sure which, that they switched it to a pve server. I took the migration here as did many others knowing that Balnazzar was going to be similar, if a little more populated and a little less faction-imbalanced.
Now, I know that a lot of people feel that they shouldn't have to play on an empty server. I know that many of them feel it's Blizzard's job to make sure they don't. The thing is, there's already a system in place for this, and it's called paid character transfer. You have complete control over which servers you play on, and the only thing stopping you moving is an unwillingness to part with the time or money it'd take to do it. Some of us, however, are perfectly fine with playing on the server as it is. I for one would rather not have anyone meddling around trying to restore some "ideal" ratio on each faction or ensuring a minimum playerbase. It's been demonstrated more than once that a server will quickly reach this balance if it's switched to pve and given the new players tag, and I interpret Blizzard's continued use of this tactic as evidence that it's their preferred option when they step in. I don't want to have to keep moving just to stay on a pvp server, but since the free migrations will always be handed out with a view to potentially easing the situation elsewhere, I'll always be moving to another server where people are crying out for intervention, and the cycle will repeat. I chose to make a character on a low-population pvp server. I do not see why I should keep getting moved along like some kind of vagrant, or why I should have give up and play on one that's set to pve. |

well they can merge if they want.
1 - Let people move to any server they want. 2 - who not do it get Transfer anyway at end off the Transfer day's. 3 - Merge what left (point nr2) 4 - remove Empty servers. ------- - Oh well they knew beter then I post :p , Few problems will be ' and I think they cheking this out. Population ? , To much is laag.. - they need to find a Full or almost full horde sever with Low or very low Alliance Example. then its able. ( Balance Afcorse ) is importand. this is what you all want. - yeah Good start ' to Bring wow back :p ehe.. I understand if there is noting anymore to gank down :p. - There is another problem : Free Transfer. Free transfer Make Servers empty. this happen all the time. - Look : Why have they ever Give Free Transfer to Maghteridon. Baad Idea.. Reason was , blizzard to much hordes they gank.../cry... well If I was blizzard , I bring more alliance to that server. Balance :) - Oh well.. Horde toke over that server nice done ; But ! what now ? noting to kill anymore..lol..its empty.. so blizzard create empty servers. sorry for my english.. I try to explain how they Make Empty server. and how its able to bring them back full. BTW : Any off you , do you not miss STV ? The Ware Zone off wow :p , I do :p Get killed by others lol , ehe... this was the Best wow day's. Wow : To many Servers , To many Empty Lands , To many Guards on towns. a pvp server wiht Gaurds lol 10% Agree.. but a PVE server with Guards euh.... |

Something has to be done at about this problem at least. I see the point where people say we can just pay to get our characters transferred, but having 6-7 semi active characters on the server makes that a quite expensive solution which I personly cant afford at the current time.
Quitting seems to be one of the only solutions to a problem like this for me, unless a merge or some other drastic meassures are done. Its not that I dont like the game - I love it - but one of the reasons I play it is because of the interaction with other people, but its kind of hard to interact with people who isnt there. I really hope blizzard can to something about this issue soon |

Well if realm merging is even possible it whould be a nice idea to merge Balnazzar with any other server that has the same problems. I just transfered to Balnazzar (came from Aerie Peak witch is medium populated) So i noticed some differences. However if merging means people just get free transfer to anywere, i wouldn't recommend that. As it would there appart friends and guilds.
