Greetings; Lienori here. My forum account was banned for a month due to a sarcastic comment, but hey, what can one do?
White hit (past 8%) isn't a bad thing, it's just less of a DPS boost than the higher-rated stats. |
Greetings; Lienori here. My forum account was banned for a month due to a sarcastic comment, but hey, what can one do? In theory hit rating over %8 seems not bad for me.It increases white hit damage and poison apply chance.I sadly watched my 5 stack deadly poison dots wears of since i had low hit rating.I think there must be new cap for poison dot continuity hit cap that won't let dots wear off due to low hit. |

Hi guys, I'm willing to start some PvE soon, so I was wondering how much Hit rating and Expertise do I need for raids and LFR?
I'm currently on 876 hit rating (11.29% hit) and 400 expertise rating (13/13). I will play Sub PvE, so my other question is, do I need expertise at all? Or i should reforge all expertise staff to crit or haste? Cheers |

Hello there,
8% hit is what you want to aim for; it is often impossible to get less than that with most PvE gear. As Subtlety you don't really 'need' expertise, but as you will on occasion probably be combat - get 26/26. It sucks to miss special attacks. Haste over crit, but the stat weights are in the guide on the first page. |

Ive been trying this lately and basicly made my own spec and glyphs, turns out its exactly what everyone else does lol. However, after analizing meters I've noticed that hemo glyph only does about 1,4 - 1,6% of my overall damage. Has anyone ever tested if glyph of s&d > glyph of hemo ?

Nono if you remember to refresh the glyphed dot,Hemo glyph is a must. The fact is that also SnD is a must, you have to change it with your glyph of rupture. If you're not so good at timing rotations you could drop Hemo for SnD,but i personally recommand you BS-SnD- Hemo glyphs

As stablol said, you want the SnD glyph - SnD is an immense DPS boost (just look at recount for your top 3 damaging abilities). Hemo is a damage boost, and I would recommend keeping it in there, but it won't break your game if you skip it. If you are overlapping very heavily with your hemo bleed, it's probably the same as not using it.

Hey all.
I've been a little stuck the past few weeks and I've struggled to find decent answers on the most known sites I usually turn to. I hope I can get answered here though. So what's been bugging me is what gearbuild is optimal for subtetly rogues right now. The way I see it there's three options. 1: Go for 4-set bonus Blackfang, two seconds longer dance. 2: Go for 2-set bonus Blackfang along with the 2-set Dark Phoenix. This is what I'm doing right now. 3: Go for 2-set bonus Blackfang only, preferably head and shoulders, and deck the other item slots with the best available off gear, right now being the valor gear personally, that actually can offer some great pieces for the remaining item slots. To say the least I'm having some doubts. The 2-set bonus Dark Phoenix usually deals 3.5-5% of my damage which I've been considering as significant enough to go with it, but while the 4-set isn't the most attractive of a set bonus, it's not really that bad, I wouldn't imagine it being that atleast. And regarding the third option, which probably would be optimal if the 2-set Dark Phoenix nor the 4-set Blackfang was worth going for, which I'd doubt, but it's still an option. I've tested out different gearbuilds on the dummy a couple of times but failed to come up with a clear conclusion. Any opinions? |

2+2 will be a DPS increase, most likely with even non-HC T12; at the moment I am unable to run FL (at least on Heroic), so I've not been able to compare. Ignore the dummies, they're useless for sub. LFR morhok is a decent test, as you get 99%+ uptime.
Naturally you'd make sure that the T12 pieces were is slots that provided the least stat loss (in EP rating). |

Hey I'vr got question about dual specs. I'm raiding in combat but some encounters I like to go sub. I really wonder about the reforges. Should I reforge everything combat-wise and just respec or in other way: the sub reforges into combat.
The askmrfailbot saying that I will gain 2% crit and 0,13% haste loss. |
|
|
it really depends on what you play most; if you're playing combat for most of the encounters, that's an easy choice to make. At the moment I'm only using combat on heroic Yor and Ultraxion, so I use sub reforges.

Which is better to use first, Recuperate or Slice n Dice? (Sorry if this has already been answered). Personally, I use recuperate first from stealth before I start, then use rupture when I've broken with ambush, then SnD before going into the typical rotation to keep up my four buffs/debuffs. Recuperate helps to get the other lot going faster due to instant increase in energy regen, but I've heard it said that it's actually better to use SnD for some reason. Can anyone confirm this either way?

Slice and Dice - no question; it's king.

Added amendment for alternative opening rotation in post 3; feedback and findings appreciated.

Confirmed and moved opener to main guide.
