I think i am not the only one who has issues completing this achievement. Since the beginning of Cataclysm some recipes have been removed I cannot obtain the required 200 recipes. I have stuck at 198, i'm still waiting for the Bread of the Dead recipe, but will be still 199. Is there any plan for new recipes in 4.3, or will be some of the removed recipes available in the close future? Please give me some hope!

I already queried this in the bugs thread as it's impossible to get without guild recipes which is unfair for either those who are unguilded or those in a one-person guild. One of the blues said they'd report it/look into it.

Hi it is a bit tricky but you can do it without requiring too much luck. Have you got the recipes that drop at either end of the caravan in desolace. Also can get gold leaf tea in one of the razorfen dungeons. Wowhead is your friend and good luck

Well, you can always go after someone to sell you Recipe: Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops.

I have it in the bank, but the "wine" doesn't even have a year, so I'll be waiting until I can sell it for a really nice price.

Last one I saw in our AH was going for 30k

(and I do have every recipe in the game except for that one, the rogue only one & the two guild achievement ones - I had 199 until they took away the pet one)

actually i have the guild recipes, some removed recipes missing, and ofc i am monitoring the AH every day for the removed boe recipes, the epic one as well. But its funny that a brand new player is not able to get this achievement.... Why? Currently we don`t have 200 recipes obtainable (not included removed boes) in the game.

I don't see the problem? You have 198 recipes and miss 3. 2 of them are still obtainable and the last one you can be lucky to find on AH. That makes 1 more than needed :)

Get the addon Acki's recipe list from curse. Then you can easily see which recipes you lack.

Have it of course, now i am at 199 and the 2 missing recipes are the Recipe: Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops, and the Dig Rat Stew. Both recipes are unavailable on my server, i did not see the items in the AH long time ago. So the situation is hopeless...

"Recipe:Dig Rat Stew" is BoP nowadays. So unless someone did the quest as a hordie before Cata and still has the recipe, you will not find it on the AH. Then again: who cares? Because it just drops from mobs...

Took me 2 mins to find out the "solution to the problem". Just do some research before you ask around, I'd say ;p

Yeah bingo, agree, after 5 mins later my post here checked it again on wowhead (before that previously checked the item around may-june and it was not available). Im still not sure if someone rolls a character now can obtain it. Can sb confirm this maybe or I am wrong again?

It drops, got it today after a few minutes of killing raiders.
Respawn is quite fast so did not run out of npc's to kill.

Be sure you get all the recepies from Desolace (caravan) some of them dosn´t spawn everytime.

I completed Iron Chef with the Dig Rat Stew, the 'epic' one is pointless

I am on 199, and I think I cant get 200 unless I get a recipe which is unobtainable.
Used ARL and only the 2 removed are left, and the rogue one.

Buy Recipe: Undermine Clam Chowder and you have your achie ^^
