Yeah they do read but I'm guessing the people that should be reading aren't (the ones that can address this issue). gz sir with post 2500! |

Clearly not totally ignored. After all they expanded it to beyond the 50 page limit. CM's can't comment further than they have until (if it ever happens) a decision is made by people that get to tmake the decisions. Extending the thread allows them to report exactly what we think upwards. Which really is as much as they can do. |

Give us something to work with already! Vaneras! Why have you forsaken us so?!
|
|
If the Community managers are fed up of this then release the email address' of the people who do make decisions...
I understand that they would never do it due to the amount of flaming and spam they would then receive which has nothing to do with this topic but meh... made me laugh when I thought of it ;) But seriously, what do you do when you have a complaint that the person you are dealing with can't solve... you demand to speak with their manager..And i dont mean that crappy email that is the standard "OMG I can't answer it, let's send it to the automated service" Community managers... i'm calling you out!!!! Get your managers on here.. let them deal with us instead of you! |

There's a very simple reason why not. It'd be the last post they ever made, and it'd disappear really fast. That's why. Let's not be suggesting people put their job at risk for your entertainment.
I would put money on the fact that many CM's are players too and some are also sitting on empty realms. I'm sure many agree with the sentiments here. But they cannot say that! They are paid to represent Blizzard. Not their own opinion. Raise a ticket and request they pass your concern upwards. Don't doubt by the way, that information about this thread is being passed up the food chain. It's about the only thing they can do, and I bet they are. Whether Blizzard will actually do anything with that info, I don't know. |

I think after 3 years of being on a dieing and now dead server i have every right to be pissed...
Like i said, i know how outrageously stupid my previous comment was and how it would never ever happened but i thought seeing as it made me laugh it might make other's laugh... About the manager thing, if i were in any face to face situation the manager would come down, speak to me and actually tell me EXACTLY what they would do to solve the situation... Blizzard simply doesn't work that way and gives you a crappy email that spits out generic emails... I remember the once i actually had a GM be proper rude and obnoxious to me.. so i asked to speak to his manager and he told me he wasn't able to do so and said i should send an email to that generic feedback email address... i got a response saying that they were looking into it, and i haven't heard anything since then... Now im not asking for a miracle but a follow up email being sent to me about the outcome of the investigation wouldn't have been too hard now would it... Blizzard's bottom line customer support is wank.. |
|
|
I never suggested otherwise. I was just making it clear that CM's would actually be risking their job if they even tried what you suggested (either in jest or not). In a retail situation, sure you could talk to the "store manager". But, they only have the ability to make a few more decisions than the normal shop staff. They're very much more limited than the level of management making the decisions we're talking about. Likewise, call up Microsoft and demand to talk to a manager. You'll either get line management or be told no. Call up your telecom company/ISP. You'll find it even harder getting out of the foreign call centre to talk to proper management! Unfortunately the people that can make decisions like this are very much shielded from the public. |
Unfortunately the people that can make decisions like this are very much shielded from the public Yeah you are totally right, it's a real shame to be honest. Blizzard just really remind me of the political parties within the UK.. Flash shiny and extravagant things in peoples eyes in a crude attempt to dazzle the customers whilst secretly giving the customers a cheeky back hand due to not completing something they promised in their election campaign... "sure we have ambitious plans to solve the server issues... but here, check this MoP video" |

Yep - well just made a new thread about that issue.. and how it sucks to post on EU forums. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4784168380 |

And the Alliance side is probably less than 50 % of that. In the normal realms ppl have guilds with more ppl online at reset day than our whole realm. And we are paying the same money as they are! <3 Vashj Eu |

Hello everyone, I am a French player of World of Warcraft and I'm on the subject to support you. Indeed on some of our French servers, we are experiencing the same problem as you. Despite the fact that post here will not change anything, I'd rather expect the opposite and it fasses things happen. A player of the Francophone community of the game, recently sent a video showing the problem of low population, despite this, there is still no reaction from our Masters of the game at all was attempted, there were multiplication of subjects with the risk of banning the players. I send you without delay the video showing the small population on the French server "Throk'Feroth". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V6-geue49w Try as much as possible to share this video, if you have you, I will try to share on the French forums. A French player operates a solution to overcome this problem, I quote his message: Okay so I'm trying to explore a solution for that except that I need some real rabbits (I said I was stubborn). Do not hesitate to send him an email. Thank you. |

Hello to all the community of wow! this video is my server, the server part of alliance and that is exactly see it on this video, the horde that door slightly better now, for now, Throk'feroth is not the server at the lowest level population, there are far worse Here are some example of what I saw on MY SERVER: Tol Barad: 5 vs. 5 on a Sunday afternoon, almost no raid PU, less old-school event, page 50 hotel sales, Thirty people in Orgrimmar on a Sunday night, and only twenty in Stormwind. The quality of play and became horrible .... We need help, Blizzard France, refuses any request for low population server ... Sincerely Cloude |

Maybe Blizzard is implementing another solution.
Maybe they don't plan to make server merges or character migration, but they offer tools in game, i.e. in Mists of Pandaria, that you don't have to think about realm server you are in, because you can do raids, instances, leveling, pvp and so on, even if there are not so manys people online on your realm. |

Clearly not totally ignored. After all they expanded it to beyond the 50 page limit. I just wanted to quote this for emphasis. I just posted in a thread relating to this just recently, we are not ignoring this and we do care about the entirety of the community. It is better for us to not post in a thread when we do not have information available on the topic at hand as it does not help further the discussion in any way. We are always keeping up to date on what is posted here and will, as we have in the past, post as soon as we have new information. Lastly, as was stated by Andrai: we have extended the posting limit on this thread to allow you to channel your feedback and comments on this topic. The other threads made on this topic are also not locked because we want them ignored, but to ensure that all of your feelings are posted here so that none them are missed and it can be sent to those it is pertinent to. |

7 months and 11 days have passed since this thread was made. As many have mentioned it has 2500 comments and more than 30k views.
Blizzard's CMs have posted repeatedly that they are looking after it, or that they sympathize and they will convey the message to the developers or whoever is in charge. Does it really take 7 months to fix this? I know we have got MoP on the way, but it's not like we have any other new patch the past 7 months. We are in Dragon Soul. Also how can it be easy for Korean servers to be merged but hard for EU or US servers to merged. I do NOT understand. Blizzard, if you CANNOT find a solution for this problem, then could you at least share with the community what is bugging you? EVEN if it is "so hard to understand", at least there will be an explanation, something. Sitting there and saying you are trying after 7 months, while you have already fixed the same problem somewhere else, can take the community to all these various conclusions that harm your reputation. If you have a problem, SHARE IT with us. Better, FIX the problem. Thank you, GM/Member of 3 dead Bloodfeather (EU) guilds the past 7 months. |

The situation is indeed horrible.
To add insult to injury they have merged low population servers in Asia but refuse to do so in Europe. My guild had to transfer from Stormreaver, alliance side, to Ravencrest to get the experience that we all were paying for also back on Stormreaver. I do however think that blizzard are loosing a lot of customers due to this since there will for sure be many people who get the horrible degraded playing experience of being on a low populated realm and just call it quits instead of paying for realm transfer. Currently it is a lose/lose situation and the obvious remedy is to do exactly the same as they have already been doing in Asia - merge low population servers. |
