Afer 1 year of pause i comeback in wow and find out that Horde side on Sylvanas is dying. I don't think anyone cares about this, i'm just adding my 2 cents in your efforts of trying to make Blizzard to hear their costumers.
For example - in peak hours we have 30-40 lvl 85 hunters online while in alliance u can find that much in DS and in SW 49+. This ratio stands ofc for all classes. The real ratio on the realm (that i find after /who "class" 85-85 "zone" ) is 0.3. So, after 2 months of playing without any pleasure because i'm sick of being killed in Orgrimmar, i end up searching a better balanced realm where i can play horde. I find out there is no such thing anymore. Either u go and play on realm highly dominated by horde, either u can choose to play on a realm highly dominated by alliance. Atm only realms that have decent ratio is Outland who we all know is FULL and Burning Legion who is highly dominated by polish players and, naturally, players use their native language in tradechat and anywhere else for that matter. So i have to choose between a FULL realm located in Stockholm and a Polish realm. Ofc either of this are not viable options for me. Since i don't find the game fun playing it without an opponent or playing it against an opponent who dominate -due to number- the entire game world i have no choice but to quit again. It seems to me that WoW is losing the main reason that made it number1 for so many years. The game is based on 2 opposite factions that fight each other for world dominance. As long as the war is fought by 2 factions of relatively same strength the game will be fun for both factions. So, and i finnish, i think that in order for game to be fun is a MUST to be an endless war between the 2 factions. When the war is over and one faction takes control over the world the game will be boring for both winner and defeated. |

I've been spamming trade for 14 hours (once every 3rd minute) in Agamaggan. Haven't got a single contact to my message 'WTB Lightstones / Elven Peridots'.
The situation of a dead economy is terrible and needs to be fixed fast. |

Did walk throu Ogrimar yesterday at 20.20 server peak time and i meet 7 players, 6 outside AH, and saw one flu over city..
and we talk about Ghostland, wich is NOT on the list of endangered servers. So if that is THAT bad i can only imagine how bad the empty servers are. |

It's getting pretty dire, i mean, i moved from my original realm, Darkmoon Faire, to Argent Dawn simply because the realm lacks... well, people. Well, nice people.
What I've found on Argent Dawn in particular is there are a lot of people effectively emigrating from their home realm (often RP ones like Argent Dawn) to here, because i -think- (yet to see anything otherwise) Argent Dawn is the largest RP realm for English speaking players. Here's hoping disaster doesn't strike here. |

We continue to look into possible changes, we're not ignoring the issue. The cross-realm zones will make areas feel less secluded on low-population realms, you'll feel less vulnerable to passing raiding parties from the opposing faction. But aside from that, we don't have any news for you on this subject yet. I'll reiterate; we are aware of your situation, and believe me, we want you all happy and enjoying the game, and as soon as we come up with anything else that may help those of you who are unhappy on these affected realms, we'll let you know.For now though, please continue adding your thoughts to the existing threads :)
Yes, you ARE ignoring the issue. You are only making this game a bit more friendly to new people that join. You are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for your existing playerbase. For the fact that you are only making a few "Starter" zones cross realm so that new players are sucked in to the fact that they are on a populated server. This is purely to get the initial couple of months of money for them playing. You have merged servers (which is simply ALL WE ARE ASKING FOR) on different continents yet you refuse to even entertain the idea in EU and US. WHY??? What is so different between us and them? Shall i honestly start looking down the discrimination/racist route? We are all tired of the "we are looking into it" "good times will come with the next expansion" "we are not ignoring you" spiel. We want honest, straight answers to the questions we are asking. I have cancelled my subscription already and i am just waiting for the last days to run out. I will NOT return till this issue is resolved and that is including your Asian marketed MoP expansion. Many of the people not only in this thread but generally as a whole feel the same. So many feel duped with the annual pass etc. You have your money, now please, PLEASE give us the simplest thing we are asking for and that is MERGE OUR SERVERS to make our cities a city P.S. for some stupid strange reason it wouldn't let me quote the first paragraph |

The easiest fix, which does not in any way prevent or interfere with the cross-server tech designed for sparsely populated zones, is this:
1. Review the amount of active accounts on all servers 2. Announce permanent shutdown of the most depopulated ones 3. Offer free migration of all characters and guilds on those servers 4. Only allow migration to other low population realms, and only to the weaker faction if imbalanced. 5. Do not allow PCM to high population realms 6. Do not allow Faction Change to the stronger side on imbalanced realms Rince and repeat once a year. Fixed! |

Yet clearly for quite some time they have not been exercising that clause. If they do anything to resolve the issue, part of the solution must be to at least police PCTs a bit. You know, like they said they already were. |

Unbalanced servers is something I've seen much of. Yet another reason for my constant realm hopping. Silvermoon, the realm the character I'm posting as is in is an Alliance dominated realm. Making money in the AH is near impossible as horde. PVP is dominated by Alliance, basically it's Alliance everything. I'm sure some servers are the opposite.
If servers are gonna be dominated by one faction or the other then PLEASE for the love of god disable PVP completely. Or at least restrict it to ONLY Arenas/Battlegrounds as opt in. On a PVE server the last thing I want to see is the opposing faction taking out the capital city and destroying NPCs etc. The WoW community is wayyy too fragmented. Either less servers/pvp restrictions or something similar needs to be put in place to make the game more fair/balanced. |

I remember silvermoon alliance side back in wotlk you could do FTA oggrimar during day and not encounter a single horde, seeing a horde in dalaran was rare, sad to see it still like that :(

I know man, people tend to ignore those using trade channel for its righteous reason of existence - tradeskills. Perhaps I should use it for recruiting instead. |
