Grass is always greener...

Reading through this forum is so upsetting, it is nothing like the social atmosphere we have in game on Scarshield Legion. I can't read a topic without a finding a post about SSL being "dead" or seeing someone requesting a server merge and i just do not understand it.
Speaking as someone who moved here from a very high populated server I feel that we are very fortunate to have this area to ourselves. Orgrimmar may not be flooded with people all the time but i take pleasure in being able to look around and knowing the few people that there are. Being just another face in the crowd does not appeal to me. I know that I am not alone in these feelings, so I am making a public plea. Leave your negativity and lets have one thread which celebrates SSL's close community without people hating on it! |

i must say i agree i like having a smaller group
back in wrath i literally knew everyone i saw in dalaran from either being pugged with, guildy or friend tis a very nice feeling to be able to walk around dalaran and chat to basically anyone at any time |

I love this server and realistically there is nothing wrong with playing here unless you make a problem for yourself. Not being able to recruit or not being able to raid are things that in my opinion don't fall down to the server. I love the community here and I feel like the familiarity you feel with other players is something we should be proud of. Sure on big servers everyone knows there own guild mates but on this server I feel like most people have friends in every guild of there faction and some guilds have very strong friendships between them. I enjoy the community, the vast majority of the time, and I feel like this server has become my home in World of Warcraft. Sure if you want to play at a really high level this server may not be for you, but honestly stop moaning about it and transfer because this server will probably never have high end players on it, and it certainly doesnt need to have them. I feel like this server is a very casual and fun place to play, and thats how I and many others want it to stay.

The server has never been as bad as a lot of people would have you believe. Recruiting people for raiding has never really been a major issue, and if it was then it was because there were too many others also doing it. Or you're not doing it actively enough. We may not have any top 100 guilds or a whole lot of top 1000 ones, but at least we have half a dozen top 10k ones ;P
I miss when the forum was more active, though. It seems that even the moderators don't come here anymore - I tried to breathe some life into it with an insightful thread about pie, and got a forum ban... two weeks later.

Dunno about Horde side but trying to recruit 25 man on Alliance side isn't all rainbow skies and gumdrop smiles from what I've observed. Perhaps Unnatrual have different experiences since their progression might attract more applications; but trying to get solid, reliable raiders for 25 man seems to be a constant uphill struggle for our recruitment team. |

YM? ~~~ Back OT, Whilst I agree for the most part with Grogar about playing on SSL, the lack of quests after the 25 dailies are done is a little limiting when all you can do it (gets ready to smirk) play with yourself (now smirking a lot!). But other than that the lack of people is not that big a thing. Of course, if you are a people person then it can be seen as a problem, but then again, if that is you, WHAT ARE YOU DOING PLAYING A COMPUTER GAME?! |

I guess that my point of view is swayed abit as I keep myself very entertained at the auction house and raiding with my guild and such. I have no idea what it feels like to be bored in this game as I allways find something fun to do. Still I think that its upto people to make there own fun in this game, work towards raiding or high end PvPing. I guess different perspectives from different types of people on this server are very varied.

/bow @Grogar - The problem I have is that my guild are currently having more fun on other games. There is still a community of us around, so it's worth staying in my guild but the game would be more entertaining if I had quests to do. I can't PVP for toffee (or honor for that matter!), my raiding abilities would not get me into any other guild for that purpose (not that I have the time or energy atm) and so just being able to keep on questing, rather than the monotony of constant heroics, would be both fun and relaxing for me. |
What happened? We couldnt have 3 posts without the same old stuff. I guess i give up. All i really want is a place to socialise and communicate with people ouside of Malevolence from both the horde and alliance. I rarely log onto these forums anymore and for all the bullcrap Kelstena puts on here at least he makes the place a bit more interesting. Cheer up guys! |

Don't worry, I have addressed my 1 real issue with the realm to the general board in the hope that a GM might see it and take note. But as I said, apart from the dailies limit everything else is fine by me. |

I don't know what is with horde side , u always saying that our realm is fine , we like empty citis ,dont cry ect. but in the end u will be all alone , with 5 k items on ah ... because maybe 3% ppl of ssl and members of good progression guilds are posting here and are happy :/ cause u all are from good guilds , have raids every week , half of my guild transferred to high pop realm now we dont have progres at all , I saw firelands in my dreams , pugs are only for bh ,ah is so pore.You dont see it , you dont have problems like that ,to get a tank or healer to kill just one boss at firelands...but every day someone is transfering ,not only my guild have this problem , this realms is dying ,yes I said that.... u have nothing here beside your friends , u all want to watch TB 5vs5 all this time ? ghost chats ? 24 online ppl at 0:00 ? I call it a private realm ...no privet realms have more ppl than us :/ open your eyes , I dont want to insult anyone but this is bull!@#$, and no, grass is not green here ...there is no grass at all ;( so u maybe happy here with yours pr0 guilds and progresion but u are alone ... there will be day when blizz close this realm cause 25 ppl online and few guilds that have progres will not pay a cheque and then u will wake up . And yes it was a qq post
