Hey Corlian , nice to see you still around :)
To the OP , a server is a piece of machinery .. people make the PUGS on other servers . The difference between the BDF and others is just the amount of people . The answer is not free migrations which will never happen anyway --- just think about it why would blizzard basically close a server down and get more bad publicity . So maybe you and the rest of the whiners / !@#$%y little girls could open up your handbags remove those forgotten items ( your balls ) and make the pugs that your all complaining about dont happen . Before you say no is that because you dont have the ability / skill to do it unless carried by better people ? yes i know i am only 7/8 normal and quite happy with that . |

As many people have said there are far worse realms than BDF :D I for one am enjoying my time on BDF finishing achieves and hunting rare mounts, cant complain

Let me just ask guys, what do u think is the best server? I'm on BDF and on Silvermoon and i have to admit that there are sooo many more people on Silvermoon, i mean, you just quest and it gets irritating cos everyone has killed the 'monsters' you're wanting to kill but then when on BDF to recruit people for your guild, its an impossibility, theres sooooo few people you come across.
i think both servers are great for different people, Social people need a high pop like silvermoon and people that just wanna game a bit need low population servers or medium ones like BDF Jaxpad. PS: THIS GAME IS AWESOME, just saying |

if ur not happy here ur ofc free to used paid transfer and xrealm to Silvermoon or Outland but expect to queue when u log in and it's busy, maybe that will even bother u so much that u decide to xrealm bk to BDF. Go play a diff game if ur bored until Mists of Pandaria. |

i belive closing other low pop. servers and let them migrate for free to medium servers like ours to get more people... instead of opening migration
that would be a bette choice.. for all closing all servers that have population under 1000 and letting them join servers that are between 2000-3000 maybe.. might not be the correct numbers since i honestly dont know but could scale it to what the real numbers are... that would increase the numbers on our beloved server aswell and hopefully give new blood to horde .. and aswell ally |

From what I can see Hef, there isn't any servers under 2500 population according to wow progress. And that is only taking characters who have killed a raid boss into consideration. Add in bank alts etc, and you have at least 4000 on the lowest population server. How do you deal with people who have quit for a few months? what server do they go to? Do blizzard just throw them randomly to a server?, or one that most of their guild went?
Bronze Dragonflight is not a dead server, no matter how you try to spin the numbers. 14,402 have killed a raid boss according to wow progress, now if you say that each person has 3 raiding alts, that is still around 5000 people on BDF, if not higher, which is most likely is. Blizzard has no reason to merge servers, or close servers down. If people want a better server, they will pay for a server change, Blizzard knows this. |

It's not a dead realm, it does suffer from an imbalance in terms of Alliance vs Horde and any discussion around how dead or not a realm is really doesn't want to be taking place at the end of an expansion.
BDF's "problem" is not really a lack of people it seems more to be lack of the right people - in other words we have quantity but not always the quality required. Of course some are here and are clearly on the wrong server - why make it Blizzard's fault that BDF offers little PvP? Surely joining a PvE realm and expecting to PvP is not exactly Blizzard's problem. Blizzard can fix many things but it's down to us, as consumers of the game, to start accepting some responsibility rather than simply moaning that something must be done by Bizzard to address problem x. If you think the raiding progression is poor how about spending more time getting better than writing threads on forums? If you think pugs don't happen how about organising one yourself rather than sitting in your capital typing "lfg DS 390ilvl". |
