Earthen Ring Horde - Get your RP pants on!

Hello, everyone!
The Earthen Ring Horde side is currently experiencing an extremely joyful revival, and we're looking to share the fun! As people who've been happily housed on ER for the past several years we've always found it to be a fun, welcoming, and pleasantly laid-back community. We're like that little country village away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the sort of place a fella' could settle down. ;3 Through simply joining our LFRP-channel, you can become a part of a wonderfully mature, polite, inclusive and encouraging community that's on the lookout for new players to join in with our roleplaying and help our community flourish. We're currently very open towards newcomers, and we absolutely love it when fresh faces come to visit. We think now is a prime opportunity for new, courageous and creative people to join us, share their ideas and create their own guilds or events! There's plenty of room for just about anything and anyone! The community is there to help you get settled, and we're almost always available for plenty of advice and creative feedback to aid you on your way. Making events has never been easier! We've recently been working to organise community events, and they've been very successful! At the time of writing, we've put together things like a mudwrasslin' tournament in Orgrimmar, a debate on the existence of Deathwing, and coming soon - an evening on the golf course! But what if you're new to RP? One of those people who's tried to get into it but never could? Well, we invite you to try us out, anyhow! Each Thursday night the Seneschal serves drinks at the Salty Sailor Tavern in Booty Bay, and that's an excellent time for some casual Roleplaying where you can introduce yourself and get to know some people. Don't be afraid to join in, cause we don't bite! Even if you're shy, chances are we'll come over and talk your face off by the end of the evening. o.o Speaking of which, the Earthen Ring Horde community is one of the most inclusive collections of people I've ever met. Practically no one is ever left out of our RP when they show up. We're very laid-back and careful to not step on anyone's toes, and I've never seen or heard of any public drama or fighting in well over a year. While we have a long history of guilds and events we're not big on enforcing our "server-lore" on anyone. If you're new you don't need to worry about stepping on anyone's toes or clashing with another group that might already have staked out their patch. We ebb and flow with the seasons, and you certainly won't have to read up on any history volumes to know what's what! As one of the original european Roleplaying realms, we'd love seeing some new faces! Do you like organising events? Come on in! Can you see yourself running a guild? Join the fun! I was an Earthen Ringer back in the days of Vanilla and it sure was a very nice place back then! Remember the many nights defending Crossroads under the command of Cajuungumbo and the boys of Ari Scara. Don't know if they're still around but I hope their legacy still lives on.

I support our fellow RPers on the Horde side! I started my RP back at day 1 on Horde, so I know you lot are making the rest of us on alliance side proud!
As I've said many a time, anyone who's interested in some RP/PVP horde side with my lot should defo get in contact with me. If you're a feeling a bit iffy about the possibility of it, speak to any of the old Kor'Kron lot. We had a great even involved RP/PVP that went super super easily. Other than that...I'm feeling urges for making something horde side... see what happens though. Keep up the good work Seneschal! |

I would like to express a super-sincere bucketful of gratitude to those of you who showed up in the LFRP-channel yesterday!
Even though the thread was posted late in the evening, you still decided to give us a chance, and that's awesome! I can't wait to hear what kinds of ideas you have for your new characters, or whatever RP-nonsense you feel like sharing. ^^ Welcome aboard, more or less. |

If any spellcasters out there are looking to help out the RP community, I'll be working on the guild that'll be perfect for Mages and Warlocks. Feel free to check out the thrad "Order of Sunslayer". And let's try and bring ER to the forefront of good RP :)

While our community is relatively small (in comparison to our blue counterparts), we offer a unique and benevolent society of open minded individuals, whom will gladly share of their vast friendliness.
A general tendency I've observed throughout my history of Earthen Ring's Horde is our preference of down-on-Azeroth characters with trivial difficulties, with moderate and manageable levels of in-character abilities and powers. We largely focus on character development and the character itself. So if fun friendliness and character growth tickles your fancy, join the Horde of Earthen Ring! PS; we have cookies. |

We're thinking of putting together some sort of event-suggestions thread on the ER forums as well so that people can pitch ideas they'd like to see happen and we can discuss how to organise them and so on!
Plus we've got a few other things we want to try out in the future. More information soon. O_O |

Also, it's worth mentioning as part of the "Horde resurgence" that there are a number of new RP-focused guilds that have started up in the last couple of days, all of whom are hungry (ravenous, even) for new members, so... I guess what I'm saying here is that it's a good time to visit Earthen Ring on the Horde side.

Filled with poison they are!! Don't trust them, they will bury you alive. *looks around* But yes, come, join Earthern Ring and /LFRP! It is great fun, nice group of people, gives you social chat, take part in some RP and all in all a nice group of people who helped make the first 5 levels more entertaining they've been in years! |

Oh, and to add to what Sebine mentioned, we plan on having a new Guild List thread (that updates regularly) as well as a thread where people can propose and promote ideas for public events by the end of the week.

A couple of nifty ideas popping up for guilds now, but there's still a lot of room for more. Chances are that your guild idea won't be overshadowed by anything currently in place, so give it a whirl!

Indeed a lot of nice and friendly folks there!
For the one looking for an open minded, fun and nice group of Roleplayers who are anything but elitist, ER is the place to go. Glad to be a part of it! I can only suggest to give it a try and just like I did you'll find it a great place and will want to transfer a main over as well. |

I am one of those war loving RPers on ER, and I approve of this message! I had a break from WoW in almost 3 months, and when I returned I faced friendly and amusing RP. New to RP? Do not fear! I was a noob once and I would love to help people become good Roleplayers. Join Earthen Ring! This is a great server! *shiny smile*
