So its time something was done before the whole of vashj becomes a ghost town,
so a call not to arms but a rallying cry to get blizzard to sit up and take notice at last count the population of Vashj was 658 people that's the WHOLE server not just alliance,

so if like me and many others from my guild who love this server dont want to leave and often cant afford to pay the money for a server transfer, then step up to the plate and sign your name below, remember we pay to play. And at the rate the server is going, we wont have enough for a 10 man baradin hold never mind a 25 man that we struggle to get going now.

so as a dedicated player of wow for some 5 years now. I ask..... no i plead with blizzard to pull vashj from the burning depths of firelands and merge it with another low populated server and rename it (Phoenix would make a great new server name BTW) or for a short period of time for a one time deal only allow a free server transfer from Vashj if you agree please say below no trolling please not bullying this is a serious thread for some serious players

I've been on Vashj for like 6-7 years please do merge Vashj with other server(s) since its really empty.
It used to be way better and i want to be able to make atleast pug raids etc.

Better people than me ???? we all pay the same money to play this game and therefore we are all equal regardless of status in the game rank in the guild your in or what race/class you play.

Servers wont be merged with the little simple reason that there will be name sharing.

Im pretty sure everyone on vashj is not ready to rename their character becouse its already used on the realm its being merged with.

Something needs to be done though i agree!

Little simple reason?, How can a server used to be Population High/Medium become ' New Players ' I did not payed for a server that have this such population, I think no1 did. So i agree with Skoda.

I have to say, moving server was THE BEST move I have ever made in WoW; moving to a high pop server really is like playing a new game!
I have a lot of memories on Vashj and it would be nice to see it be revived, but as others have said, blizzard will not help.. After all they are a business and want your money!

Just save up enough money and move, you will not regret it!

4 guilds left in less then 2 months..how do u think i feel? i think i will quit this game, after all...it gives me nothing..only take. there are so many other realms in the same situation..for 2 years they stood in this situation and never solve it. i wont pay 2 years so i can farm flowers .

On a more serious note, Exiled left as well? (I knew about Optimus). Are there any alliance guilds that raid constant?

Vashj alliance status is really hilarious, but like some of the above said... Blizz will not action because there are hundreds of posts with "omg our server is so low", but rather they know about this issues (100% they do) and they will do something ... when they want to.

Yes, their attitude towards the players is really bad here; yes... game looks a lot different on a high populated server (like rusted said), but there's always the transfer option!

Wow just lost 1.7 mil subs in the last 3 quarters; how many players from these left because they just didn't a had a populated enough server? Maybe there were a few... just a few K's, and that because watching the big picture, Blizzard have to fix other huge issues (like content, the direction game is going etc).

I don't say this problem is not important; it is important for 100 players that are still on alliance Vashj... or a few other isolated cases like this, but watching the big picture, I doubt Blizz will move a finger! In fact, who really likes and wants to play the game on... will pay a bloody transfer fee and enjoy they game on another realm.

In the end blizzard will lose just a dozen of subscribers while most of the have payed them already the transfer fee :) There's profit!

I do hope Old Republic will be a really decent game (not like AoC or Rift); and I hope that not because I want to change wow for swtor, but rather if there will be a REAL competitor on the market... Blizz willl have to pick it up, and gamers will win quality and content!

Blizzard wont do anything like merging servers.
They already did something about the issue and that is called "paid transfer".

My suggestion is that players should behave more like beeing on a "new players" server.
The reason to go to one is usually that the requirements to join PuGs are way lower than on a High Pop Server.

And here the problem kicks in.
Vashj is not a new server. It's an old server and people are used to ask for "achieve" for anything. Sometimes they even want achieve for 2 years old ICC these days!

That means Vashj is not only not interesting for progress orientated guilds, but also for "new players".

So make Vashj a paradise for new players or become a ghosttown.
