About us:
Winds of Creation (raiding four days per week) was formed in October 2007 on the Horde side of Daggerspine and has seen steadily progressing semi-hardcore raiding ever since. After our creation in Burning Crusade times, we've slowly grown and developed into the top 25 raiding guild on Daggerspine. The realm's guilds have seen some tough times, but right now we're as strong as we've ever been and are enjoying great success in Cataclysm, sticking with 25 man and never opting to switch to 10 man mode. Our most recent accolade is Realm First: Madness of Deathwing. We have done very well in Cataclysm, and aim to continue our success into Mists of Pandaria! Current progress: Blackwing Descent: 6/6 Normal, 6/6 Heroic Bastion of Twilight: 4/4 Normal, 5/5 Heroic (Ascendant Council after 4.2) Throne of the Four Winds: 2/2 Normal, 2/2 Heroic Firelands: 7/7 Normal, 7/7 Heroic (Server first every boss, 6/7 were pre-nerf) Dragon Soul: 8/8 Normal, 8/8 Heroic Current progression boss: Mists of Pandaria! Recruitment: We are currently recruiting ALL classes. We are expanding the roster for Mists of Pandaria, so will be trialling experienced players until the end of this expansion. What we expect from you:
- 110% focus during raids and good preparation for the raid (i.e. bringing food and potions, etc). - Competitive spirit - we have a healthy roster and you will sometimes find yourself competing for a raid spot against other raid members. We want you to show us that you deserve a spot. We also enjoy fun competition with the other competitive guilds on Daggerspine - you should want to join in to help the guild be as good as it possibly can be. - The ability to play your class to its maximum potential. - The best possible attendance and reliability - our minimum requirement is 2 raids per week out of 3, though you should want to aim for a Core Raider spot by attending all raids. - Access to Ventrilo and (preferably) use of a microphone. What you can expect from us:
- A fun, social guild where members are chatty, get on, and enjoy playing together. - A stable yet small Officer crew that can deal with any problems you may have and do their best to make the game as fun as possible for you. - Active forum discussions regarding boss tactics and any crazy things you might want to share. - A dedicated 25 man guild - we will never chicken out and go 10 man. Raiding schedule: Wednesday: 19:10 - 23:00 Thursday: 19:10 - 23:00 Sunday: 19:10 - 23:00 Monday (During Progression): 19:10 - 23:00 We've been known to extend some raids past the raid-end time if it's convenient for everyone in the raid in order to kill a boss we are close to. In addition to these regular raid days we have alt-runs and occasionally PvP on off-days that you can participate in. We also regularly use Monday during progression as a day to clear all remaining bosses, allowing us some more time to progress on Sundays.
