Eonar Realm Status

Hi,
I'm creating this topic to voice my concerns about the EU realm Eonar, it's been recently noticed by the realm that it's starting to die off, in fact I'm pretty certain it's close to death. I'm slightly disappointed and disgusted that there is no option for those players whom have been with the realm for an extremely long time to either get one free server transfer, or something similar. I've been playing the same two characters and I've been subscribed to WoW for around 18 months which is about £170, and we get no option to nothing? I think there is one or two options for this, either; - Shut down the server completely, which will give the option for those still playing on the server a free character transfer. - Offer at least one character per account a free transfer to those on a 'low level', or 'new players realm'. I know this is probably just going to get brushed aside, but I think something needs to be done to support the community and something needs to be done fast. So what if it's making the realm less active, if the worst comes to the worst, shut it down temporally. I totally agree with this!!
i have been playing wow for roughly 2/3 years and have got 3 level 85's from the time i have spent. i am totally disgusted and annoyed that the realm has got this bad without anything being done. If i do a character transfer will i get to send all 3 of my 85's at once? i completely doubt it. more than likely i'll have to pay £45 for 3 separate transfers + the monthly cost to go with it!!! after 3 85's i dont want to go to a new realm to start all over again but i dont want to stay on this realm with the population status as it is. i doubt there will be any blues that will have a look at this but if there are, please can you be fair enough to do something for us. there are loads of players who have been on for years and to tell us just to do a paid transfer after all that time is just ridiculous! if nothing is done, you may end up loosing a customer!! I agree with you Jamhorn, Something should be done. As you said you have paid to play world of Warcraft and you want as much experience as you can get. And you can't if there are no high levels to do raid, Tol Barad or even achievements.
My suggestion would be just to shut down the server as it will not grow and more and more people will leave. |

Agree, been playin on this server for maybe 4,5 years now? It's always been so !@#$%^- dead on horde side. The trade chat is literally dead, rarely anyone posts there anything. If you pug, it usually takes up to 2 hours to fill the group, if not even more and then the pugs fails, gg. Soon horde will be completely dead, WHATCHUGONNADOTHENBLIZZARD? Seriously, fixfixfix.com, thank youuuu.

This post is reflecting my view as well, and from what I have heard and spoken to with a lot of other members of this realm, it seems to be similar to a vaast majority of players. It is getting more and more difficult to find groups for anything, get any PvP achievements and even the auction house is all over the place. One day prices may be extremely high and the other extremely low. This imbalance is what causes high-level plyers to leave.
I have 4 level 85 characters myself on the realm, and it would be a lie to say that I haven't considered a realm transfer. The only issue is money, it would cost me too much. I would like to see this issue addressed, as I would like to enjoy the game without having these sort of issues on my mind. |

im glad to see there are other people with the same feelings!! and pextis thats the same point im adressing with the numerous 85's. it'll just cost a bomb with price!
its just harder for us 85's to organize raids within the realm. half of the population now is low levels just starting. fair play to them that they're starting out on a "new members" realm but for us 85's its a lot harder |

I agree with most of the above, I feel Eonar HORDE has been dying or dead for over 2 years. Even at peak hours within the day, horde will struggle to get a 25 man BH running due to lack of classes and even players on horde.
I have a few suggestions that have probably been done in the past, but we need to put them forward again and Blizzard should try promoting our server, specifically horde as alliance is not doing to bad. - Free Migration to Eonar; This should draw people who are looking to move off a more populated server - Prioritise it; New players can see Eonar as one of the first options and mindlessly click it - Merge Servers; Probably a difficult task but would more then likely solve the issues Spínal |

Spínal, you have some really good ideas in there, and wouldn't take much effort for Blizzard to actually set up.
Hopefully this is noticed soon. Jamhorn |

I've been playing on Eonar for about 4 years now, I honestly wish I started on another server - Or even Eonar Alliance side.. I've levelled 6 characters to 85 on Eonar, I have every heirloom item I need for any class on the server.. So even if I was to try and just start fresh on another server, I'd be missing all my heirlooms.. So that idea is not very appealing
Something seriously needs to be done.. I very much like the idea of the server just shutting down and all players on it getting a free transfer, even a faction change would be nice too :D I also quite like the idea of some sort of realm merge, but not sure how difficult that would be for Blizzard, so I don't expect it really I would just get transfers, but with having so many high levels, I'd have to take most of them, and the cost is just too much |

There are servers with one-sided population.
There are even servers with one sided population AND with majority of people speaking non-english languages. I understand you experienced major life dissapointment since "your" server is not what you expect, but you must take fact there are several other servers where are very smillar or way worse conditions with ratio/progress/being alive on one side or another. Eonar compared to others have huge gap about progress. People are used to pug BoT, BWD or FL trashruns on even just normal (and even cannot down it whole) against servers where people are used to "farm HC FL" everyday. People are used to gear themselves from Zanda HC´s or AH BoE´s. Those would not survive on fast-progress styled servers. inb4 "you suck too", i play in my way becasue i like it. not for "OMG need new HC gear asap". |

Dave, you have your own opinion. And I respect that, but Alliance isn't too popular itself, it's just got more players than Horde.
So you have it pretty much well off. |

Hi guys
first, im playing in wow for almost 3 years. 2 years in eonar (i had another account but it was stolen). what i saw in these 2 year in Eonar was people leaving from the horde side to the other servers and the alliance keep growing. that left the horde totally outnumbered in tol barad against the alliance. also we hardly find any members for some pve action.secondly i totally agree with the guys before me that wrote some solutions for Eonar's sake like Free Migration to Eonar.im telling that the Blizzard should look after Eonar and give some solutions for his sake.that's all i had to say sorry if i bored you Spiridoula |

no matter what way you look at it, the server itself is very low populated. i understand that its a one sided realm i completely agree but there has always been a good number of horde players online to make it bearable for players to group up.
but considering the fact that now there are a low number of horde players online its unfair for those who want a change to actually have to pay loads to get their character(s) moved to a better populated realm |
