Anymore girls that are GM:s?

Would be fun to talk to other girls that are GM:s in WoW. Just talk about you experience and that stuff :)

Okay why are people always calling female players a "girl". Some of us are within the 20-60 age bracket and therefore referring to us as "girl" reeks of ageism by assuming only teenage females can play this game and not their mothers or possibly even their grandmothers. I am old enough to be the mother of some of the teenage players in my own guild, and I know other female players of around the age group as I am... and I doubt they would like to be called a "girl" and I certainly don't appreciate it...
So back to the topic you asked about... in a more politically correct way I will state I am a female guild leader, and as for my experience as one just check through most of my posts in this specific forum as I am quite active here writing about my experiences and giving advice where I feel I can give advice. |

That's a bit harsh. It could of course mean that she's looking for female guild leaders in their teens? Peergroups can be formed based on both gender AND age. Them youngsters don't need us old folk anymore. ;) Or she made an honest mistake, which would hardly be worth 5 lines of rage.
On topic: I'm a guy. The only thing scarier than me volunteering, would be me volunteering and pretending to be a girl. |

Well... this is new. Female guildleaders are more common than most ppl think, and well ppl treat both guys and girls equally.

Nah, I do not think so. Girls do not have the necessary leadership skills to form a guild. Also you need certain skill level to do dungeons and raids also.
I heard legends about female GMs, but in the end they were in reality some fat dude. |

Nah, I do not think so. Girls do not have the necessary leadership skills to form a guild. Also you need certain skill level to do dungeons and raids also. So by that definition (all girls are bad) I assume you are a female in an all girl guild? It's interesting that it's always the worst players with the gamingskills of onearmed chimps that do the most complaining about others. I guess they feel the need to bring others down to distract attention from themselves. |

Female toon, female in real life, GM and Wrath/Cata RL in Darkness of Dishonor. ;)
Though I did not create this guild and we are going through rough times, I think I'm doing pretty good at leading the guild. Also, I lead most of the raids in the guild and no one has complained yet. I mostly know tacts and if I forget, I ask if someone remembers something I missed. And I have heard rumors that people enjoy my raids the most. I treat them as rumors but isn't there a saying that goes something like: "There is a bit off truth in every rumor." |

Female as well, playing since April 2005, my own guild since end of TBC :)
Also, I can't seem to play any male character, it just feels "wrong"? :P |
|
|
I know that feeling. :p I used to have one male character, a Worgen Mage but could only play till level 15. After that I deleted him and made a new one (Nelf Female, Mage too) and she's now 20. :3 |

Female guildleader here. 2 of my 4 officers are also girls. I believe my guild contains about half of each gender.
Also, my first hardcore raidleader and gm in vanilla was a woman, we cleared mc, bwl, zg, AQ20, AQ40 and naxx with her. I don't think it's all that odd - afterall we are half of the world population. Also, I play half my chars as male pretty much. I just create a char with nice looks. Not more weird than my boyfriend playing females I guess. |
What was your RoC nickname? |

Female Player and ex Gm here.
The Gm of my guild is female, and so is one off her oficers. 2 fems in core raid team and 3 in the social raid team. I prefer guilds with a healthy mix off male and females, and funny enough often those guilds are the once with female GM's Both in the core and the social raid team the females are raidleaders, master looters. And :D often top dps and healeres *flex* Edit: removed one off the many typo's |

female here. Guild was formed by my rl male friend in 2005 but i took over in 2006 when he quit wow. Since taking over, we gone from just a social guild to a semi raiding guild.
I have 6 officers and 3 of them are female. I also have about 25-30 other female members in the guild. |
