The state of Kor'gall (server)

Kor'gall is in a really bad spot right now. The server is dead, specifcly on the alliance side there is hardly anyone around at any time of the day.
This is really taking away the "MMO" feeling and hurts my and other peoples experience with it. Due to this the prices on the auction house are insanely high (cut inferno gems cost roughly 400g/piece). As well as a lack of any kind of social activity besides LFR/LFG. I've been on this server since the start of TBC. Its been going downhill ever since. The majority of my characters i have already transfered to higher populated servers for quite a while now, but the cost of transfering is getting to much. I shouldn't have to pay for something i can't do anything about. I'm already paying a monthly fee for a good gaming experience, but i'm not getting it on Kor'gall with the state it is in. Me nor anyone on the server can control the population and thus should not be punished by this. I'm sure people will say "its only €20, just pay for it". The price tag on its own is not my problem, its the principle of the situation and the added amount having transfered multiple characters. Requests: - Free migration from high populated servers to Kor'gall, especially Alliance - Merging another underpopulated server with Kor'gall, one that has more Horde. As the ratio is 10/1 as Horde/Alliance on Kor'gall. - A free transfer to a more populated server. Like i said, i should not be punished for something i have no control over. And thus i shouldn't have to pay for a transfer service due to this reason. I doubt i will get a response, but i can only hope. Thanks in advance. |

Vanilla and even TbC was great and there still is die-hard vanilla gamers out there.

This server is one of the original beta-test realm from BEFORE wow. the only reason its a online server today is thanks to hardcore beta-testers who insisted on the server going online when Wow was first released. |
I would disagree here. Kor'gall was created in April~ 2005 as a result of overpopulated servers around the launch. Two of the realms that got a free migration to Kor'gall to ease their pressure were Burning Legion and Shattered Hand. I know that because I got here with that free migration. I can't deny if it actually was a beta server though which wouldn't be unlikely if the first pool of new servers they created after launch were beta realms prior to that. I'd also advise you to not advertise private servers since they are considered to illegal activity in the official space of WoW. As regards to the actual state of Kor'gall. We will see a minor rise in player population next week though it will be far from the glory days prior to faction changing which ruined the server in the long run. Alliance side will probably still be dead and you'll have 4-5 horde per alliance player out there questing. |
