Stupidest reasons you've been kicked
|
The most stupid reason I've ever been kicked is for refusing to heal a DK 'tank' that was in Frost Presence and wouldn't respec blood. This was in Stratholme. 'WHY DO U QUEUE IF U DONT HEAL!" was the only response I got. Have also been kicked for not healing a hunter pet and letting a mage die when he kept ninja pulling.
My favorite is being threatened with kick for not respeccing to Discipline, because Holy 'isn't a pve spec' |

Clearly you need to be more aggressive in your use of the "pre-emptive blame" approach. Basically, make sure to mention in advance why something will fail, then cause it to fail in a way that's not obviously your fault, then be the first to place blame afterwards, making sure to be consistent with what you said in advance. That'll convince pretty much any PUG that you're right and the other guy is the retard.
In the case of the DK, mention to the rest of the group that he'll take a lot of damage, then spam him with useless heals (so that he dies, but it looks like you're working hard to try to save him), then when you inevitably wipe you repeat what you said earlier. Same thing with DPS who ninja pull; warn them that it may be hard to save them, then heal them half-heartedly, and when they die (IF they die; if the minimal healing is enough to save them then it's not really an issue), mention that you can't keep them up through that kind of incoming damage. This has served me very well over the years, and I can't really remember ever being kicked from a group as a healer. |

I was kicked a couple of weeks ago for being "chatty" in the party chat. This was after I asked if everyone was good and ready for the impending boss pull.

I always figured that most people click 'yes' without thinking or reading.
Decided to test that when a warlock was QQing and calling me a ninja for winning a roll on a staff without spirit (no hit, it was mastery, good for disc priest even with no spirit). Typed 'ninja'd staff' into the box for vote to kick and sure enough...they vote kicked him. That's my silliest reason why HE got kicked. [He was about to vote kick me so figured I might as well try it.] |

Deadmines Herioc Mode.
Doing good healing, with good enough gear to satisfy the group's needs. One DPS dies due to Fire Wall, and even with the Death Knight's Battle Ress in play, he died again to the bloody thing, running into it. The same DPS dies due to trash mobs, as he pulled nearly half the room while I was back at the entrance to the room drinking, after stating 'MB' in party chat.. I struggle to heal everyone, going OOM and barely saving everyone, but him of course. I state 'MB' in party chat again, and begin drinking. We reach the second boss no problem. And then I just get kicked. No one told me why, no one mentioned kicking me. I was just kicked. |

one of the most annoying kicks i ever got was when i was healing and a dps caster asked me if he could need on healing gear is well i said no so he left it. some healing gear dropped later i needed then the next thing i know kicked :(
other then that when i was dpsing and not bothering to sheep i got kicked... mainly for arguing with the tank he was calling me a noob for not sheeping even tho when i was doing at start he kept breaking it... |

I got kicked once for being a druid.
Joined hc Deadmines (some months ago) vastly overgearing it. I got in a guildgroup with a druid tank. Before we even started he sighed when he looked at me and said: oh no, we got a druid healer. To which I replied with: So? Tank: Druids cant heal druids, their hots are too weak *Me being flabergasted* -- You have been removed from the group -- |

A very funny moment from a friend of mine, what recently (patch 4.2) happened.
She was tanking and got in a full guildgroup as well who kept harrassing her, calling her names and pretty much wanted to go faster than normal walking allows a person. It was Stonecore and they kept pulling extra groups, mding it to dps or the healer and moaned about her not being able to keep agro. Ofcourse they were, in their minds, just joking around with friends but that can be highly annoying for the person who's with them. My friend had the most lovely solution after the first boss.. She voted kicked out their healer with the reason: Noob tank Like most groups, they instantly clicked yes... Shortly after that they all left the group ^^ |
I didn't say it wasn't legit :p I've kicked people for legit reasons as well, including but not limited to: afking, rolling need on everythink including greens, tanks in only pvp gear with no enchants and no gems, badmouthing and playing drama queens when they cause a wipe etc. |
