Who are we? Why are you reading this?
Tre Lowen is a progression raiding guild on Hellfire – EU. Tre Lowen literally means 'Happy Home'. We pride ourselves as being a progression focused guild with a social core - something few guilds can balance. We play hard as much as we work hard and the majority of our guild has been together since mid-tbc. Come find us: http://www.trelowen.eu As a guild we have continuously focused on competing for progression kills since mid-TBC including heroic content, and have been among the front runners on the server. Due to a 'change of ownership' late wotlk we took the foot off the gas at Cata launch, however the beers are in the fridge, and we are ready to get cracking. We are currently raiding primarily 10 person content in Cataclysm, where our aim is to build on our reputation as a leading raiding guild, in both 10 man and later on 25 person raids and re-establish Tre Lowen as a raiding force in Cataclysm. Where we focused on 25 man raiding in Firelands we've decided to go for 2 10 man teams in Dagon Soul. Our aim is for both groups to be focusing on fast progression through normal modes into heroic content. We are looking for quality not quantity in our applications. If you believe you can contribute to our strong base of talented players and be active in a lively social environment we welcome your applications. Being self-critical - Show the desire to improve. Experience - Current or previous expansions. Selfless attitude towards raiding - Movement & survival is as /more important than personal statistics. Consistency - Sign ups and performance. Sense of humour - you will need it to fit in with the social side of the guild Impress us, don’t be afraid. We want to know if you think your awesome... just make sure you can explain why Raiding Schedule: We raid 3 days a week, we expect core raiders to sign up for at least 2 out of those raids. Our raid times are as follows (server time): Wednesday and Thursday, starting at 20:30, ending 23:30 Sunday, starting at 20:00, ending at 0:00 Where have we been? Tre Lowen is one of the largest guilds on Hellfire. Originally formed out of the ashes of Space Cows mid-T5 content in TBC. In TBC Tre Lowen formed a strong 25 man team and cleared up to and including Illidan in black Temple prior to the great big 'nerf bat' which hit pre-wotlk. Our race to the finish with Flinter Spaction was great fun, with both guilds pulling in long hours. In wotlk TreLowen started guns blazing with some fantastic early kills, such as one of the server's first Sartharion + 3 drakes kills (10 man) after something like 250+ wipes (Yep, it was pretty tough pre 'zerg' era). We cleared all Naxx in good time, and again were one of the first guilds to clear ulduar on 25 and defeat Yogg-Saron followed by some significant hard mode kills, our 10 man team in particular clearing the hard mode achievements. I'll skip ToC etc, as yep we did well there 2 but it bored be in truth. MEH. In ICC we again cleared the content before the nerf bat had crippled the place beyond recognition. We tried to maintain our 25 man raiding throughout Cataclysm, but trivialities like real life, raid fatigue and the lack of distinction between 10 and 25 man raiding lead to a less successful period than we should have had. So, we may have been a little quiet in recent months but no longer.. we are back!... BOOO! Our officers have been within the guild for a long time, some of us are founding members and all have been part of both the raiding and social team at various times, we take a lot of pride in this guild and are looking for people who want to contribute in order to benefit.
