Please Help ! System 32 issue.

Hello, I really need some help with something.
I've been looking around the web for my problem but I can only find solutions to the opposit. Here is a description of my problem: I had troubles with a game and the log said there was something wrong in System32. So I went there and it asked if I wanted to access it, which I did (though I wasn't able to solve the problem, but luckily it solved itself). However now it is wide open and I can not re-lock it, so if a Trojan or anything manages to get into my system it can do everything with it. Please how do I lock the access to my System32 ? And I mean for users, I understand ofcourse the computer must always have access to it. |

I'm not great at this stuff, but there's a program called Take Ownership on the web that allows you to, well, take control of a program or a folder. Not sure if it could work as a lock, but hey, could always try?

Thanks for the feedback, but I feel this must be possible to be done within Windows 7 itself.
I mean I can open up permission as Administrator, so I must be able to lock it as well, I would think. However, I can't find any way that works. |

How do you actually know it's open? Are you sure it doesn't lock itself after you've exited it?

I know this because I checked.
I restarted the computer, two times, one of which was a complete shut down, and it was still open. Edit: I checked again right now, yep..still wide open. |
