i know it may be early to talk, but i cannot keep alive anyone.... after swift mend ppl simply pop...i feel sometimes that i am not healing at all... Druid healers at highest lvl isent any good healers at all in PvP, at low lvl they suck badly... |

The most funny thing is that you can still die by for example Warrior/Death Knight while you are fully hotted and spamming instant Regrowth. So once again GREAT JOB Blizzard hopefully you can start thinking better and test the things before you release them on live patch so this game wont go to oblivion.

Ever thought that you might needed to CC more? - You've Natures something, which roots melee upon attacking you - The resto druid is fine for PVP'ing.
At bgs, with PVE GEAR, i'm on this druid, able to survive, being attacked by 5, or more players, by using my spells propperly. You shouldn't expect blizzard to buff your healing spells, so that you can stand still and outheal everyone, that way, you'd be overpowered, not being able to die. - Instead you should go learn to pvp. |
|
Otherwise it would be like back in lvl 70, where you could HOT yourself, thorns and moonfire people to death - Soaking all dmg.

Sneezus, you mean 5 totally retarded DPS right? Because i'm 100% certain that one good DPS will kill you in less then 20 seconds if you use your PvE gear.
Rdruids are horrible in PVP at the moment. Yes, we have nature's grasp but with every melee DPS having at least one CD to counter that and having an enemy healer dispell it it doesn't help that much. Yes, we have cyclone but with the long cast time and short range just walking away from your pillar to cast one means instantly getting swapped to and death. I'm not saying it's impossible to get decent rating as Resto druid, i'm just saying it's extremely hard. Alot harder compared to other healers. |

resto pvp is fine....the problem must be the gear not giving 8k resil

Ever thought that you might needed to CC more? - You've Natures something, which roots melee upon attacking you - The resto druid is fine for PVP'ing. Thank you for your insight. You must be a really good pvp'er! O wait, 1700 is your highest rating and that was pre-cataclysm :( Maybe if I used my ''natures something'' I'd win more?? |

ToL sucks, you lose your mobility and half of your abilities. The worst thing about it is that it seems to be the only long cd in the whole game which requires a gcd, this has killed me so many times.

They've been very bad the whole of cata, to the point that I started PvP for the first time on this toon in Cata and swiftly stopped. I just don't think we scale as well as other classes and our mastery sucks balls for PvP.
The bigg issue is we lack burst healing potential - that's in both PvE and PvP venues tbh. Much of the problems in PvP lie in our excessive use of HoT's, multiple GCD's, lack of personal and team-mate mitigation and the fact that we have zero burst potential outside of Swiftmend and ToL Regrowth spam. Add in I personally think a reduction on SM cooldown to 10s (to fit in with our mastery CD) is a step in the right direction. Sure it is a big heal but it isn't deemed OP right now exactly is it, but will help no end for tank top-ups (a weak area) give almost constant up-time of our Mastery bonus (something other classes don't need to worry about) and give extra burst healing for PvP (something we desperately need). Let's not forget that we still need 2 GCD's to use it. For PvE it then procs more Efflorescence which help offset our AoE healing loss from WG nerfing that now appears to be completely redundant given how much we fall behind other healers on that front now. Other changes could be making HoT's (or at the very least LB) immune to purges, (No other healing class has as much of their healing potential dispellable), make travel form NOT break ToL, make travel form immune to movement slowing effects (you know like ghost wolf is) and remove ToL from the GCD table. |

My main is a hpala and im sure i would survive longer in pve gear on pala since holy shock crit make fol instant , 2 buttons 50 k hp heal , try beat that as a druid u would heal 5 k

It makes perfect sense that priests for example, have mana burn - then whenever you need to innervate, they dispell it - because logically, resto druids can't dispell offensively. Just to put up a good example of a "perfect" balance here.

Mana burn has been part of the priest tool-box all along.
If you want to give priests as an example, they got these: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=588 http://www.wowhead.com/spell=45243 And we got these: (no,I didn't forget anything) |

Mana burn has been part of the priest tool-box all along. You are right - however I do not ask for nerfs - what I ask for Resto druids is a buff. Even just offensive dispelling would work nicely. It's also a shame leather users have the lowest type of armor - especially resto druids :P |
