As an old gamer, I have no intention on moving to SW:TOR. Star Wars has no interest to me whatsoever. Also it'll be full of kids wanting to wave light-sabres around.
I'm looking forward to Pandaria which, contrary to your ignorant statement, is nothing to do with Kung Fu Pandas and everything to do with WoW lore.

What I mean is, the lore has been developed for over 30 years - probably longer than you've been alive. I'm not talking only about the films either.

It's very easy to laugh at WoW's lore, which is much more simple, and was mainly stolen from DND games and Warhammer (which predates WoW - and if you know anything about it, it's blatantly obvious how much has been stolen - WoW has very little originality).

Oh, and Star War's lore is just all awesome and original, huh?

Ah, so you're saying "Lol #*!**, talking cows and little green men" are amazing plot mechanics? How about those "undead deathknights" eh? How does that work? Maybe explain how a fire mage can dps Ragnaros - the guy made of... fire?

You see, anyone can pick out random stupid things from most lore/games. It's a cheap and weak argument that any child will attempt to use. Let's forget the fact that I never actually claimed that "Star War's lore is just all awesome and original". I'll pretend I really did say that just to help you out as you're struggling to say anything worth reading.

Go play the game or read up on it instead of coming on here and annoying folk , is your life so sad you need the attention . I will tell you now if the old republic ends up full of folk like you my sub will last 30 days and that will be that .

Heh, but will the 12 year olds who want to play with pandas and pokemon know of this lore? Sorry, but if you think Blizzard are doing anything except attracting even more kids to the game, you're fooling yourself.

I like hearing this absolute statements from people who haven't even played the beta though. "It'll be full of kids" - that's not my experience so far. In fact I've encountered far less childish behaviour in SW:TOR than WoW.

I'm not saying WoW was never fun - TBC was the pinnacle for me - but it's way past its prime, and the rot in the community has been growing for years. It's not even a nice place to spend free time for many people now. A lot are simply addicted to the carrot and stick.

I seriously have no idea why people have such a problem with kids playing a game. when did gaming become an adult hobby?
