Redemption [6/8hc 10m Silvermoon] - Tank/Healer/Ranged

Hello,
We re a 10 man alliance guild located on Silvermoon-EU, the #1 ranked english PVE realm for progression raiding (according to wowprogress). We play in a very competitive environment and we re looking for people who feel up for the challenge of going up against top ranked guilds. We re interested in particularly skilled and experienced raiders who are looking to relocate on a high pop realm with a healthy economy, and a flavor for the night life. Our search is now directed towards the finalization of our core, and the preparation for Mists of Pandaria. We want to come off the gates with no gear handicaps, and with a valid roster able to keep up with the best, server-wise and region-wise. Obviously we re not there yet and that is why we re here, looking for... well... maybe you ;-) What we require out of our applicants:

NOTE: We do expect every member to have a working offspec and to be proficient with it. We do consider ANY exceptional application outside of the current guidelines, we recruit the player not the character. If we think you re a good player you will find a spot here with us. Our current Schedule Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 20:30 to 23:30. In rare occasions we extend to midnight or add an extra day if needed. [RANT MODE - ON] We are truly unimpressed with the quality of applicants we have had to deal with. Though we are sure this is a curse that affects the whole community, and not just us, we still feel like something should be said. We have made exceptions, we have given chances, we have overlooked things, we have been open minded and understanding because we are adults, and we know that there can be exceptions to every rule, but we will not tolerate incompetence. Not knowing what spell usage competes to your class, not knowing where to tank a boss or an add, not knowing what cooldown to use and when, not knowing what glyphs are better for a given encounter, not knowing how to use the extra action button, not knowing how keep a tank alive, not knowing how to laugh at a joke, not knowing when to stack and when to spread, not knowing how to install voice coms software, not knowing boss mechanics, not knowing how to make a macro, not knowing when to burst dps, not knowing what spec you should use for a fight, not knowing when your guild raids, not knowing when to stop yapping, not knowing how or where to move, not being able to ask questions when you are clearly clueless - These are the problems of the current raiding generation, just to mention a few! We will avoid thanking Blizzard for their "catering to the masses" concept, when all it seems to be good for is breeding a phenomenally ignorant generation of raiders. (i mean that literally, people who ignore, and are unaware of pretty much everything) We are honestly tired of trials who last 1 evening. We are tired of having our progression crippled by people who think they can keep our pace and then wake up in a puddle of sweat on the first heroic encounter they find themselves in. It surely has been our fault for allowing them to have a seat in the raid, but when push comes to shove and it s either that or no raid well... the options you have are not pretty. We re here to try and finalize our roster in order to be able to compete for the next expansion. We re looking for likely minded individuals that can help us to complete our raiding group. We need mature, smart, independent, and skilled guys and girls who share our same passion for this game and will put en equal amount of effort into it as we do. I'm a mage ilvl 387 that's recently moved to Silvermoon, after trying out different guilds I'm currently guildless and would love to join your guild for DS Hardmodes :)
I can play Arcane and Fire and have 6/8 normal experience (including Spine) and got madness to 2% before we wiped. |
