Just to post about this whole saga from my perspective:
I know a number of people have taken issue with Sién's actions and behaviour, behaviour that would not be out of place on one of the "larger" PvP realms, for example. However a point I have explained to Sién is that it may not be as appropriate here on our little RP realm - a point that I hope has been taken on board. This has been an interesting situation from my perspective, and I get the impression that I have had the misfortune to come across as the bad guy from all parties involved. From one side I looked to be sitting idly inactive, and from Sién's point of view I was on his case and trying to wing clip what he thought to be just having fun. A core principle that I built Daybreak on from it's inception was that, irrespective of any success in PvE or anything we got involved in, we would be pleasant people at the same time. How much we've succeeded in that, I leave up to individuals to decide, but we try to put the effort in regardless - and so it saddens me to see the guild's name being impacted by any individual member's actions. After a long talk with Sién, he has agreed to be more mindful of his actions and behaviour in future, so as to try not to offend or upset anyone. I am keeping a close eye on the situation, and I where I feel it necessary I will poke and prod as required. In the same vein, however, I would appeal to people's sense of enjoyment of this game - and I ask that we all do try to take things in the lighthearted or "tongue-in-cheek" way they are intended. Nevertheless, if anyone does have any problems in the future with anything to do with Daybreak or it's members, then I encourage you to come directly to me to discuss it. I don't bite, and wherever I agree and see issue, then you can rest assured that I will do my best to resolve the situation within the best interest of all parties involved. I hope that Sien's apology can be the first step to starting over and putting this whole saga to rest once and for all - and I hope that everyone feels a little more content that problems do and will get addressed! This wasn't so much a saga Quinzen. Star Wars is a Saga, this is more like The Phantom Menance ie it was really bad and shouldn't have happened but we'll still be alive and move on.
That means apology accepted I am sure by all. |

Phantom Menace was one of the better of the three prequels of Star Wars; Ray Park was twice the actor Hayden Christensen was in terms of Jedi/Sith and a much more believable character. Which for a primarily a stunt-man and martial arts stand-in actor to compare up against Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor is really quite something.
But, alas. Opinions will always differ - such is variety and the spice of life. Had you come to Mention Mr. Reloaded and Revolutions on the other hand... |

No idea what this is about, and as its non of my business I don't really care as its never effected me.
What I will say though, is that it takes a big person to post something like this. Even if they are just a little Gnome, but with little Gnomes come great big ideas and hearts! Well done, If I see you around I hope I'll get to RP with you, regardless of how much Lu'shu hates Gnomes! |

Well, I watched the videos, and well, if I was in one of those groups, I'd very likely have reported you for griefing. I've done it before when a former member of Obscure did what you were doing; that player received a ban and was removed from Obscure a short time later.
I'll make it absolutely clear since Myshe has named A Perfect Circle above, many of Daybreak's members were here afterall, and indeed many alts still remain. I want to avoid guilt by association, and make it clear that we simply would not tolerate that kind of behavior. Quinzen has been good enough to give you chance after chance, make sure you take it because there are plenty who wouldn't have. |
