2 button class?
|

Go Discipline Priest with Atonement build:
Holy Fire -> Smite, Smite, Smite -> Holy Fire -> Smite, Smite, Smite -> ... You'll be doing equal amounts of healing and DPS, a true hybrid with an actual 2-button rotation, congratulations! |

I would suggest that you go and play ping pong! Very few buttons to smash, deep gameplay, takes ages to get skill capped tbh.

There's no difficult class, I play all mine with standard UI and clicking - This pally is probably the easiest for good DPS, closely followed by my Arms Warrior, Arcane Mage and Combat Rogue. All are around 385 gear level and in terms of DPS I'm usually near or at the top of the meters whichever I play - you just have to learn how. Arcane mage is by no means the easiest if you want to be doing GOOD dps, but easy to be middle of the pack.

If you want to play arcane, its indeed the easiest. If you want to master arcane, its by far the hardest spec i tried on my 3 level 85 chars. You need to have the max amount of mana when you can do the max amount of nuke. For any movement, you want to be low on mana. No spec require such good knowledge of the boss fight as arcane does. As arcane you can do 50% more dmg if u manage ur mana correctly versus if u fail miserable with ur nuke phases. Then if you are a good player and easy learn the boss fight, but just want 1-2 spells to handle, arcane is the best indeed.
On the other hand. Fire is very easy. Put 1 dot up, spam fireball untill your pyroblast procs. And then u download an addon which tells you when to use your combustion (3 minute cooldown dot based dmg spell). And when u move, you just spam scorch instead of fireball. 3-4 buttons and easy as !@#$ (though aoe as fire is a bit more complex). Hunter and warlock got harder rotations/priorities. And in my opinion, a range class is easier then a melee class if you wanna chill some (compare my mage and hunter with my warrior). So, go mage in my opinion. Also has a lot of nice emergency spells (blink, ice block, cautherize) |

Meh, even if arcane has fewer buttons, fire is easier than arcane. In general mage is quiet easy, when it comes to rotation, so is any other dps class honestly. The challenge in dps'ing doesn't lie in rotation. With experience, you can follow any rotation or prio system by heart and instinct anyway.
However if you are looking just to do some average dps, and doesn't care to max it, go fire mage. Quick and easy to learn the very basics of. I'd probably stay away from warlock if you can't be bothered to spend a little time learning your class. |

Why would you level 3 Arcane Mages. |
That's two words. Arcane mage Ele shaman Prot warr Ret paladin The first two is the classes with fewest buttons, but imo every class except feral and warlocks have a very easy rotation so my advice to you is to play whatever you feel like since they all have few buttons to mash. Just stay away from locks & ferals. |

Why are people suggesting Attonment disc?
Its actually more difficult to play than a non-attonment spec-ed discpline priest. In general rotation Track rapture cool down every 12 secs Power Word: Shield Holy fire/smite macro penance for stacks of grace prayer of mending Prayer of healing greater heal/and everything other single target heal Not to mention hymn of hope/divine hymn and Power-word barrier. |

Arcane mage indeed (altho you need to control your mana, know when to pop arcane missiles for mana-management, when to pop mana gem, evocation, that interrupts give +spellpower, when to use arcane power). But even all that is easy to learn.
Also elemental shaman. It's a 4-button-spam. Keep flame shock up, pop lava burst when off cd, lightning bolt or chain lightning (depending on how many mobs/boss). Oh, and sometimes elemental mastery and unleash elements. And control your totems, you don't want any 'double' buffs (cause it won't stack). |

Enhancement shaman a faceroll/simple spec? Since when? It is actually still one of the most complicated specs to play.
Melee-wise, combat rogues and fury warriors have rather simple "rotations". |
Howling Blast, Frost Strike and Obliterate, with the odd dot and cooldown here and there. Seems like 3 button spam to me. |
