(Transmog) Weapons that won't show enchants

I wanted to assemble some daggers and other weapons that have an intrinsic glow or effect thus won't display, amongst others, the oh so lovely Landslide enchant. (cough)

I only know of a couple of swords and axes that overwrite the enchants ( Broken Promise comes to mind), but it would be nice to add other weapons.

i seem to remember
Bloodsipper having a black/opaque glow which overides any enchanted effect.

i seem to remember this is very true.. Merciless Gladiator's Right Ripper Gladiator's Left Ripper Overwrites any enchants. Both s1/s2 fists do. They're a bit purply aswell.  Malchazeen Overwrites any enchants aswell if I remember right. Red-ish glow

If I recall right, no. But I know there's something with that item. I do not exactly know what :p. Can't test it out now, since I'm not at home. |
I must be thinking of another dagger. IT's a weird red smokey effect, rather cool actually o.o |

I use the following script to check if it will or won't display the enchant:
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("\124cffa335ee\124Hitem:ITEMID:4099:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[Item name]\124h\124r"); 4099 being the ID of the landslide enchant. I've tested everything in-game but for some reason I'm not able to update my post at this moment - keep getting "error 500, try again later".
Using the script I posted earlier, it is apparant that Melchazeen does in fact display the Landslide enchant, on top of its red glow.
Gutgore's Ripper actually has a very feint black glow, though I was only able to see it because/when I turned my graphics up to ultra. I will add the other weapons mentioned here as soon as I can. Many thanks so far! |
